Being violent back to the terrorists is the only way we are going to stop them.  I once saw an interview with a pilot that was a Vietnam vet.  I forget what he flew, but he really was upset by the rules of engagement prolonging the war, and getting more men on both sides killed.  He said we needed to be quick, and VIOLENT to bring the powers that be on the other side to the bargaining table to end the war.

This is a totally different era of Democrats.  We are dealing with far left Marxists now.  Yes, we can, and will lose some of our rights.  We may still have a 2A in name, but it will be interpreted to not be an individual right.  Heller will be overturned.

I cannot vote for Trump.  That doesn't mean I will vote for Hillary but my conscience will not allow me to vote for him.

To put it in perspective, I have a two-book set of the Internal Revenue Code on my bookshelf that takes up about 6" of shelf space, printed in small type on that thin paper stock. It's 5,622 pages, plus indexes, etc.

The Income Tax Regulations that interpret the Code take up 16" of shelf space, printed in small type on that thin paper stock, and is 93,614 pages long.

Even if you make a flat tax, businesses will still need accountants to keep their books straight, just to determine what their profit is for the purposes of calculating the flat tax.


I've not seen a "flat tax" proposal that is on gross revenue, almost always net, so you have to keep track of your expenses, and your capex v. opex and all that fun stuff.  Those are things that a business owner needs to know regardless of taxes anyway.  You could exempt businesses from tax, and accountants would still be firmly in business.

What Jeff said, however, was factually and historically accurate. The press plays with the GOP like a Lab plays with a stuffed toy. They chew on it nicely for a while, and then disembowel it. We've seen it again and again. They "pick" the GOP nominee that they believe can be beaten, build him up, only to tear him up once the general election begins.

Assuming Trump, nor Cruz, nor Kasich get to the magic number of delegate, who do you think will really be the eventual nominee of the party? 

Will it be Romney?  How about Ryan?  Myabe the establishment will go with Kasich?  What do you think?
