Must be, “fuck-nozzle” is a new one on me, LOL!  You guys are making me laugh but I do wish there’d be more intelligent debate and less insults but I don’t feel like I can say so because this forum is an unmoderated free for all and I wouldn’t have it any other way, so, carry on.

Yes, a couple of times here lately, Steingar has called all of us “rubes.” Blanket labels and dismissals like that, from whomever they come, greatly lower the person’s legitimacy to me.

Never could figure out the political undertones of gastrulation or placental development, but I bet you guys could.
Clever. Use the earliest question of life to justify the the inter uterine destruction of a fully formed human being anywhere from the size of my iPhone to a baby 1 second away from birth, and in some quarters like Illinois and Virginia, after the live birth.

Liberalism is a death cult.

Yet it's racist to require voter ID.

Lack of forensic access to the Dominion machines means lack of transparency and the fact that the USSC signaled zero interest in fixing this thing means our country is dead, we will never have a fair election again. It’s impossible without transparency with the vote machines, among other things.

I hate it when there's just an infographic and no data about how the survey was conducted or their definition of the various fields.  I don't see computer programmers in there and suspect that it's buried under engineering.  And the donations of regular people are overwhelmed by donations from the highly liberal Silicon Valley firms.  Academia matches my experience.  The academics who can get a job in the real world tend to be conservative.  Those who can't get a job in the real world tend to be liberal.

And 29 presidents served in the military.

I predict this pandemic will never end....
We must wear masks and social distance and keep businesses closed until we reach a 0% infection rate.  And after that so we never have another infection.  Science says so.  It's for the children!

I say something, you ask me for a source, so I get one.  Ohh, that's the wrong source!  Has to come from Alex Jones or Breitbart or some such.  Or it has to match your. preconceived notions.

Whatever.
Come on.  You're an academic.  How about an unbiased source?  My ass can be a source to pull stuff from, but it's hardly unbiased.

Spin Zone / Re: Automatic Rifles? Really?
« on: March 25, 2021, 09:32:29 AM »
Total BS.  Folks in America are shot with all kinds of firearms.  There is only one item of commonality that link nearly all of them.  The vast majority of firearm victims in the US are known to their assailants.  Half are suicides.  The incidents of malefactors shooting masses of people with assault rifles are outliers, most assault rifle owners are law-abiding citizens acting well within their rights.  Indeed most firearm owners are law-abiding citizens acting responsibly within their rights.  There are as many firearms in circulation in the US as there are people.  If America was how the media portrays us we'd be at war.

I agree but I don’t think this conflicts with what little Joe said. I think he meant these outlier mass shootings are never with a fully automatic rifle, yet the media throws around the term “automatic”, conflating semi-auto with fully auto and of course the gen pub are too stupid to parse the difference.  They see on their TV shows these scary looking “assault rifles” on full auto all the time.

I met Mikey some years back at Oshkosh. Actually good person except for his politics.

He's a decent if quiet guy in person, but his net presence is a bit Napoleonic (if that's a word).

Dr. Fauci did not respond, other than to say that the threat of presumed “variants” of the virus might still possibly be able to infect the vaccinated.

And an asteroid could hit tomorrow and wipe us all out. There comes a point we have to ignore ever diminishing risk and get back to living.

What’s your point? Do you disagree with the following parts I bolded from the article?

His point is to be a condescending prick, not actually respond.

So as congress now pushes a huge gun control bill through, we are seeing mass shootings in the news.
Lost on the masses is these mass shootings actually prove the point of the pro-2A advocates. Police cannot protect you, and bad guys will ALWAYS get guns.

The reality is that the goal is a disarmed proletariat is no threat to the bourgeoisie and the state. It has nothing to do with protecting people in a grocery store.

edit:  and even without signing any document, it is my understanding that it is illegal for anyone to knowingly reveal classified information.

"anyone" means you, me, and everyone else.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Times_Co._v._United_States:

Quote
New York Times Co. v. United States, 403 U.S. 713 (1971), was a landmark decision of the US Supreme Court on the First Amendment. The ruling made it possible for The New York Times and The Washington Post newspapers to publish the then-classified Pentagon Papers without risk of government censorship or punishment.[1]
President Richard Nixon had claimed executive authority to force the Times to suspend publication of classified information in its possession. The question before the court was whether the constitutional freedom of the press, guaranteed by the First Amendment, was subordinate to a claimed need of the executive branch of government to maintain the secrecy of information. The Supreme Court ruled that the First Amendment did protect the right of The New York Times to print the materials.[1]
