Love me some Bill Whittle.

Only thing that will stop it is a revolution.
And yet, until now, have never published an editorial taking a position in a presidential election.
I would just like for the candidates to start addressing the real issues that matter to us all. Their personal lives are well known. So I would like them to move on to cogent and thoughtful discussions of things like
LIFE
DEFENSE
IMMIGRATION
ACA
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
ECONOMY AND TRADE
JOBS
STOPPING THE POLITICS OF DIVISION
You know. Things.
If an MD examines here and makes a diagnosis of Parkinsons' (which is actually fairly difficult to do. Lots of things can cause tremors) I'll believe it. I certainly don't believe it when a bunch of ideologically driven internet posters start a conspiracy about it. Reminds me of the birthers. But you could tell that Reagan had Alzheimer's. Got it.
Juanita Broderick going after Hillary - 100% fine with that. Same for Bill or any of Hillary's surrogates. If the Clintons haven't been held to account so far, they will never be held to account.
But I personally draw the line at the kids of the candidates, even when they are acting as surrogates.
Bill and Hillary will eventually be held to account for their atrocious behavior towards the victims of his serial sexual assaults but these stories, as terrible as they are, are not the way to torpedo her candidacy, her lack of actual achievement over 4 decades in the public sector is the way, the easily predictable negative impacts of her continuation of the Obama policies is the way...
The affairs and assaults (while terrible) are the low hanging fruit at this point, it's the economy stupid, it's immigration stupid, it's widespread corruption stupid, etc.
'Gimp
Trump has said clearly that the government will be paying for it.
Last time I was in Ga. I casually mentioned to one of the fellows I was with that there were more back people where we were than my home burb. They very rudely said that we could have them, and proceeded into a long vituperative rant about African Americans. I managed to massage the situation explaining that many of the aforementioned in my neck of the woods were Somali immigrants seeking a better life (and quickly changed the subject), but truly I had never in my life seen such naked bigotry. And this was educated fellows and pilots. I'm glad I'm in an academic situation in a northern state, I dislike discrimination and racism and am happy to hold it at arms length.Yet you felt the need, in the Deep South, to point out that there are more blacks in wherever you were in Georgia as compared to your town in Ohio. Seriously? I lived in Charlotte for 6 years, and my daughter went to vet school in Mississippi, and I have spent my fair share of time in the south. I'm not sure I would have ever asked a question like that. What exactly was the point?
Atmosphere.Maybe, but that would take decades at a minimum. Probably centuries. A test colony on the moon would help iron out a lot of the bugs and allow for the research and the technological development that will be needed at a much lower cost. The moon would make for a great proof-of-concept.
Mars has the theoretical ability of being terraformed, the moon does not.
