Not exactly afraid. Were we afraid of Russia in the cold war? I don't believe we were, but we still had to treat them with kid gloves.

It wasn't Russia back then, it was the Union of Soviets Socialist Republic. (Loser socialist/communist regimes screwing everything up as they always do).    And yes, people were afraid during the cold war.  And the progressive nutjobs went bonkers when Reagan announced peace through strength, deployed the "peacekeeper" missile and announced the SDI initiative, it was a beautiful thing.  Ted Kennedy had one of his many treasonous  bizarre moments when he asked the Soviets to "unseat" Reagan for fear he would start WW3.  Of course, turns out Reagan skillfully handled the Soviets leading to the commies ceding control and the end of the cold war.

It's reminiscent of what Trump is doing now.

Here's the right-wing problem with the abortion argument. The far most common pro-lifer view is that abortion should be outlawed: "Except in the case of rape or incest".

So are you saying that rape & incest is worse than murder? Thereby justifying committing murder as a result? Or are you saying that abortion isn't murder?

Maybe you are indeed one of the few people who DO say that abortion should be banned in ALL cases. Then you need to look at me with a straight face and say that if you're 10-year old daughter was raped, that you will force her to carry that baby to turn.

Close your eyes and imagine a 250lbs sweaty black man holding a knife to your 10 year old daughters throat, pulling down her panties and thrusting himself into her over and over again. She resists and he hits her with the back of the knife, shattering her cheek and jaw-bone. She barely survives. And your response will be to tell her that she now has to carry that baby to term.

If you can say that, and honestly believe that in your heart, you have the moral high ground.

If not, your argument is invalid.

Your premises are bullshit, I reject all of them.

Instead let's start with a premise that is reality, and  that is abortion is the killing of a unique human life, which is therefore murder.  Now justify abortion from that premise.

Nice conversation, but it has nothing to do with socialism.

I paid over $100'000 in federal taxes this year.

I also paid $75k to date for a war that I did not want anything to do with, and apparently I owe another $150k on it.

Why do I have to pay for your agenda, when you don't have to pay for mine? Here's a thought - give me my war money back and I'll donate 50% of that to the charity of your choice.

Strawman, stay on topic.    If you truly paid $100,000 in fed taxes, first welcome to the club, second, my proposal is well within your capabilities, another 40% is easier for you than for most.  It's your idea, pay for it, show the world you are serious.  And rather than trying to force the rest of us, who think your idea is crap, to pay for it, get your progressive buddies to pay up too.

To answer  the question in your title, it is not ok and enough is enough.  Time for us to continually practice our 2nd amendment rights by concealed carry.

36
. If that implies paying another 5% in taxes, then so be it. I'm either going to write them a check, or I'm going to write a check to someone else to protect me against them.

Spoken like someone who pays very little in taxes.  Here's an idea, the treasury accepts donations beyond what you owe in taxes. Put action to your idealism and pay more voluntarily, and why stop at 5%, try an additional 40% of your gross income.   Urge the rest of your progressive buddies to do the same.  If you all put your money where your mouth is there would be no need for the rest of us to be forced to pay for your misplaced ideals.

According to all conservacrats Health care has to be a business just like any other.  According to them its sacrosanct in the Constitution, though it is no where to be found there.  Conservacrats would rather people die in the streets for the crime of being poor.  Conservacrats don't give a rats ass that folks can be sent to the poor house the crime of getting sick.

And Conservacrats don't care that systems are in place in other lands that truly serve everyone for less money than we spend.  It doesn't match their all-important ideology, so it must not be true.

The level of stupid is very high in this post sir.

Every time I go to the DMV. Every time I have a dealing with the IRS.   Every time I read about a veteran dying waiting for VA care.  Every time I check out the federal deficit.  Every time I read about another politician enriching herself by taking advantage of inside information.  Every time I drive under a rusting bridge. Every time I hear about SS and medicare programs about to run out of money.  The list goes on and on.   Every time, I wonder how so many people can be so fucked in the head, as to think that having these incompetent morons in government in charge of health insurance and health care is a good idea.    Really, if you think this, fuck off.

Free shit, give people more free shit.  Pay your own f'n health care.   Stop this madness, the government has mandated insurance pay for things that never would have been covered in the past, that's why it is so expensive.  People think healthcare should be free now because of it.   Liberals keep wanting more free shit because they have no clue that it isn't free, someone actually has to pay for it, but they never think they should have to pay for it.  As long as it's someone else paying, not them, they are fine with the gov't giving it away.

Watch the video and please pay attention to how the question is worded by Senator Coke Head, and then listen to how Senator Sessions answers the question.

Senator Sessions as a SENATOR on a committee had interactions with various ambassadors, just like other senators.   Senator Sessions made it clear he did not have interactions on behalf of the Trump campaign.

Lol, no, no, no, that's not what the MSM is telling us.    We really are doomed when even supposed intelligent people can't reason this out.

In fairness, that's because the government has been monkeying with health insurance for years.  Thank Ted Kennedy for the HMO legislation.

Couldn't care less about the handshake, tickled pink Merkel agreed to increase Germany's defense spending, that's the big story.   Of course that makes Trump look good so instead the MSM talks about handshakes to keep the moonbats rattled and outraged because the MSM knows moonbats are too stupid to figure things out on their own.

Healthcare and health insurance are not one and the same.   Unfortunately, most people combine both into one, and that is a big mistake.
