Excellent business acumen!

Nothing like driving away customers who patronize your business.
Yeah, but liberals seem to have a real problem understanding "cause & effect".
(think taxes and minimum wage and welfare).

She purchased some kind of fashion accessory.  After she bought it, the merchant sent her a hand written note that they were donating all the money to charities she doesn't support, including Hillary's campaign.

Germany declares "We won't let anyone take Europe from us." for the first time....well, at least since 1944

“I am confident that these countries can also send a message that we won’t let anyone take Europe from us,” [German Foreign Minister Steinmeier] said heading into a meeting in Berlin of his counterparts from the EU’s six founding members.

Spin Zone / Re: Reasons to Vote for Trump
« on: June 13, 2016, 09:34:10 AM »
The most overarching hysterical irony of this election cycle is after deriding Obama for having too little experience in government and public affairs extolling Trump, who has none at all.

Obama had zero experience in anything, except for "community organizing" and hanging out with radicals.  He never actually worked for a living and he never ran a company and made a payroll.   He was, and still is all hype.

The most inexperienced amateur to hold the office.  And to date, the worse.

The opioid epidemic has emerged from America's medical establishment, the vast majority of folks (including Prince, by the way) get hooked on these things while being treated for pain.  Opioid addiction can lead to heroin abuse.

I'm not going to say you are wrong, but I will ask if you have any evidence to back that up.  The few addicts I have known, including a loved family member, got hooked because of bad decisions and life choices.  They never set foot in a hospital prior to the tragedies that accompany hard drug use.  If I had a little less self control and restraint, I would probably have tried to kill the couple that got my sister hooked, and even encouraged her use after she had been arrested and gone through rehab, and re-arrested.  It finally took a two year prison sentence (actually a 5 year sentence with early release for good behavior) to get her straightened out.

Spin Zone / Re: John Kerry wants a "Borderless World"
« on: May 08, 2016, 02:20:07 PM »
If Kerry likes a border less world, I'd like the addresses to his mansions, and have him tell me where he keeps the key.
No no, you see that's not how it works. A borderless world is for the common people, not the rich and powerful. Just like guns should be banned except for the private security that protects the rich and powerful. I've quoted it before and it's applicable here as well, but Willow has a great quote: "Socialism is for the people, not the socialists".

The story is 180* out of phase with reality.  The strangers in our own party are the voters who supported the GOP only to be shit on time and time again.

Nope.

This has become a more Progressive/Democrat country, especially now that illegal aliens, and dead people vote for Democrats.  If people don't come out and actively vote for Trump, they are voting for the Democrat candidate.  So, FastEddie, you will vote for Hillary, but I think you will secretly pull the lever for her anyway.

What are unrealistic methods of generating electric energy?

I'll continue and take "Energy Unicorns" for 500 Alex.

I'm sorry, you answered the wrong question.

The question was:  What are insufficient/inadequate methods of generating electric energy?

This is the beauty of fracking and energy independence. We can actually seriously contemplate calling out our drug dealer on their underhanded bull crap. I say pass the bill and let the chips fall where they may. The Saudis are not our friends. Just look at the way they treat their own people. Is that even close to the American way?

..on the recent birth of your new child.

I've had two.  Oh, my departed wife had a part in that.  I now have 4 grandchildren.

Raising a family has to be one of the most difficult, and rewarding things anyone can do.  Lots of people will try to give advice, but there really isn't an owner's manual or operating instructions to guide you.  You seem to have a good head on your shoulders, so you will do ok.  Since this isn't your first, you probably have figured out that you can cover up a lot of mistakes with love and understanding. So, go forth and enjoy.  It is amazing seeing them learn to crawl, learn to stand up and take their first steps, learn to walk...

Next thing you know they will be wanting the car keys.
