There you go.  The next step is in June when he will install the titanium screw.  Then it heals some more and he will cap it in the fall. The whole process will take a year.
But  you should still floss before brushing.

My dentist has forbidden me to use mouthwash.  I’m in the middle of getting an implant and something about the gum healing over the bone graft which takes like 6 months and mouthwash isn’t good for it.  I’ll have to ask but I got the idea he doesn’t like it in general because of the alcohol being too much of a drying agent.
I have heard that you shouldn't use mouthwash with alcohol after dental surgery because it damages the new healing cells.

Just out of curiosity, which way do you think is the correct order of brushing and flossing?  To my surprise, my dentist and hygienist said you should actually floss before you brush.  If you brush first, you brush right over the crud.
I don’t “think” brushing first is the right way, I know it is.  It’s the way my mother did it and the way all my dentists except one have done it. (That one was wrong.)

HAH!  I was right!

2: Clean between your teeth

It might sound backward, but yes, you’re supposed to floss before you brush your teeth. As Wadia explains, a toothbrush (even when used effectively) can only reach the front and back sides of teeth. Flossing after you brush is certainly better than not flossing at all — she likens no flossing at all to only cleaning one side of a dirty dish and putting it back in the cupboard. That said, it’s best if the floss comes first “so that when you do brush your teeth, the toothpaste can have good access in between the teeth,” says Wadia.

Let's say 99% of illegals are just looking for a better life, are good people, want a job, and will end up paying taxes and eventually assimilating.

And let's say 1% are criminal psychopaths, which is the actual estimate in the general population. Assume for the sake of argument that the rate of psychopathy among illegals is no higher than that among U.S. citizens.

Almost 7.3 million illegals crossed the border just during the Biden administration, as of February, 2024.

7,300,000 x .01 = 73,000.

So we have 73,000 newly arrived criminally inclined psychopaths just in the past 3 years.

So the argument that illegals are simply looking to escape poverty and be accepted with open arms is technically correct 99% of the time, but doesn't hold water if you are trying to defend the idea that we should just let them all in. A process of vetting would weed out those with a violent criminal history, ties to terrorist organizations, or no discernible job skills meaning they'd just be a parasite.  Without control over who enters our country, we aren't a country; no point in even having borders.
I also like to point out the hypocrisy of the left when it comes to illegal aliens vs gun control.

They say that illegals are "mostly peaceful" and looking for work to improve their lives.  Only a few of them are criminals.  You shouldn't punish the majority because of a small minority.

But when it comes to gun control, even though most gun owners are law abiding and peaceful, the left wants to take guns away from everyone because a few are criminally inclined or mentally ill.

The only difference is that gun ownership is  constitutionally protected and legal but illegally entering the country is not.

And no intelligent adult would ever think you were either conservative or republican.
You might be right,
But what do you think? ;)

He made the same mistake Speaker Johnson did, he tried to make friends and allies with the UniParty.
Two mistakes Republicans always make that keep them from getting anything done:

1.  Cozying up to the Unipraty.
2.  Pissing off the Uniparty.

Best case scenario Trump occupies the WH for 4 more years, things begin to improve a bit, THEN we continue the downward slide. I don’t see the rise of another Trump in time to save us. You don’t get one like that but every thousand years or so.

"Muslim immigrants are openly calling for "Death to America" IN OUR OWN CITIES.  The regime is openly allowing this,"

It has been my understanding of English that the pronoun "this" refers to something appearing earlier in the text, not later (unless followed by a colon.) And the placement of the comma indicated the completion of the sub-thought. Over the years you have demonstrated, to me at least, that you can articulate your positions very well with little or no ambiguity. I found it striking that you would write something suggesting suppression of free speech, hence the pointed question.
Picky technical semantics.
And I usually support your counterpoints.  But not this time.

Thank you for the correction.
I hope that was sincere and not snarky; like "bless your heart".

The biggest mistake you made was to take one part of a comment without considering the context of the other part.  Just like people do with the 2nd.

Does this mean you want authorities to take legal action or use force against people shouting "Death to America"?
I don't think that's what was meant.  I think it means that we should not be encouraging illegal aliens to enter the country.

JD Vance says what we all feel.

No more aid for Ukraine.

They can't win the war.
Obviously.  I agree that if Ukraine gets no more aid, they can't win the war.

Our country doesn't have a revenue problem, we have an out of control spending problem
Our spending isn't really out of control.  It is under the control of the politicians we have collectively elected.

Republicans would have a good chance of winning in November, but they are bound and determined to abort that opportunity.  Pun intended.

Supreme Court to weigh if Jan. 6 rioters can be charged with obstruction

Defense lawyers say prosecutors improperly stretched the law by charging hundreds with obstruction of an official proceeding

In the aftermath of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, federal prosecutors had to decide what charges to bring against hundreds of participants in the pro-Trump mob that disrupted the certification of a presidential election for the first time in U.S. history.

In more than 350 cases, they included a federal charge that carries a hefty 20-year maximum penalty and is part of a law enacted after the exposure of massive fraud and shredding of documents during the collapse of the energy giant Enron.

As of this month, more than 100 rioters have been convicted and sentenced under that statute for obstructing or impeding an official proceeding — in this case the joint session of Congress that convened on Jan. 6 to formally certify Joe Biden’s 2020 victory.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments about whether prosecutors improperly stretched the law by charging people with that violation in the first place.

The court’s decision could have political implications for this year’s election, since Donald Trump — the likely Republican nominee — has made accusations of prosecutorial overreach a core part of his appeal to voters. The case could also directly impact Trump’s own trial for allegedly trying to remain in power after his 2020 defeat; two of the four charges he faces are based on the obstruction statute, and he could move to have those charges dismissed if the Supreme Court rules for the rioters.

There is something wonky about that scope.
I agree.

Is it a staged photo-op?
The photo was on the Navy Times web site, until a marine pointed it out.  They pulled the photo.
Also, I don't think anyone puts the front hand grip that far back, except maybe a T-Rex.
