I found this interesting and thought it may interest some of you.

You weren't spending money back then on the newest iphone, high speed wifi, multiple streaming services, starbucks, etc. It's a spending/saving problem, not an income problem.I'm also seeing that most young people these days want to buy the same kind of house their parents have now rather than settle for something they can afford and work their way up. And they're frustrated that their gender studies degree won't land them a job they can live on.
Me too, we had interest rates around that. There seems to be a difference now though. Young people seem unable to afford to buy a house. But my husband and I could when we were young, even with those interest rates. Is it that the prices are higher than they were back then (adjusted)? Is it that the young people aren’t earning as much? Is that because fewer women worked back then? (Dumping women into the workforce created more supply and lowered salaries and wages?) Or is it because they aren’t marrying and are trying to buy homes by themselves?
There’s a different feel this time around.
I believe the opposite of what I'm told by the Feds. You can trust that any bill before congress does exactly the opposite of what its title says. The "Border security bill" does nothing but allow more illegals into the country.
Casa Alitas offers shelter, necessities and travel assistance to asylum seeking families.Asylum seekers must by law stop at the first country that doesn't actively oppress them. As they made it through a dozen other safe countries, they are by definition not asylum seekers. They are simply freeloaders. If they want to work, let them work to improve their own country. If they want to vote for change, let them vote to change their own country.
