Spin Zone / Re: Joke Thread: Post 'em if ya got 'em

The IRS suspected a fishing boat owner wasn't paying proper wages to his deckhand and sent an agent to investigate him.

IRS AUDITOR: "I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them."

BOAT OWNER: "Well, there's Clarence, my deck hand, he's been with me for 3 years. I pay him $1,000 a week plus free room and board. Then there's the mentally challenged guy. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of Bacardi rum and a dozen beers every Saturday night so he can cope with life. He also gets to sleep with my wife occasionally."

IRS AUDITOR: "That's The guy I'm here to talk to, the mentally challenged one."

BOAT OWNER: "That would be me. What would you like to know?"

Spin Zone / No One Notices As Mitch McConnell Replaced By Cardboard Cutout

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to mounting criticism of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel's fitness to serve, the Republican party has replaced McConnell with a far more lifelike cardboard cutout of the Kentucky senator, according to sources.

"This will provide us with much more functional leadership," said GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. "This cardboard cutout is a vast improvement, with its static depiction of Senator McConnell being far more lively and interactive than the real, human version. No one even noticed for over a week."

Serious questions have been raised over McConnell's competency after he suffered more than one public episode in which he fell alarmingly silent while speaking to the press. "Replacing him with a life-sized cardboard cutout will silence a lot of these critics," said a GOP insider. "While the transition will feel rather seamless during press conferences, we're expecting to get a lot more productivity and collaboration with the cardboard cutout behind the scenes."

When reached for comment, Senator McConnell responded, "................................"

Congressional Democrat leaders applauded the move while stating this would not present any change in their ability to move their legislative agenda forward. "Honestly, this cardboard cutout isn't much different than the real thing," said Senator Chuck Schumer. "We haven't skipped a beat passing our agenda with zero opposition from Republicans!"

At publishing time, a group of high-ranking government leaders were engaged in secret backroom meetings to discuss how much easier it may be to simply replace every member of Congress over the age of 65 with a cardboard cutout.

WAYNE ROOT: Tucker is Outing Obama as Gay. But Everyone is Missing the Big Story. I’m Obama’s College Classmate. I’ve Been Trying to Warn America for 15 Years!

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/09/wayne-root-tucker-is-outing-obama-as-gay/

Quote
But gay is not the issue. The issue here is fraud. If Obama is in fact gay, then he was lying to the American people from day one. He portrayed himself as a happily married family man with a wife and two beautiful young daughters. That’s called fraud.

Not necessarily. There's such a thing as bi. And if he's all gay then he's only doing what tons of gay people do. It's possible to be gay but want a wife and children to pass on your genes. Gay people sometimes want to reproduce just like anyone else, and doing it this way is better than two gay men using a surrogate to pass on their genes and then raising the kid without a mother. As long as you're honest with your wife and don't cheat on her while you're married, I see nothing wrong with it. It's possible he isn't "portraying" himself as a happily married family man, but actually IS a happily married family man even if he is gay.

That you don't want to talk about it publicly is totally understandable, as the article points out, he would have had no political career at all if he'd done that. Back in the last century there was still discrimination against gays in other careers too. So I don't fault gays of older generations for "lying" (pretending to be straight). It's just what you did back then.

Although I completely agree with the disastrous results of his influence on the country. And I have a HUGE beef with the fact that I still think he may have been born in Kenya.  THAT is a problem, and real fraud on a constitutional level.

How do you accidentally shoot someone at the range?  Not practice basic gun safety?

  It's a government operation.

Right now I am under the opinion DJT will be jailed, and he will not be allowed on several states ballots effectively knocking him out of the race.   But whoever is next in line, you can bet your ass they will go after them as well.  And the next guy.
He may not go to jail, but he will be pulled off the ballots in several states.  By the time that's determined to be unconstitutional, it will be too late.

I’m saying no candidate is worthy to be President unless they relentlessly and publicly hammer the obviously political and relentlessly ongoing persecution by this deep state-controlled puppet administration and its lackeys in Congress of the one man who has relentlessly pledged to dismantle the deep state. They must also relentlessly hammer the issue of election fraud and relentlessly hammer the need to restore election security and the actual will of the voters by whatever means necessary.

No scientist or mathematician or even geeky libertarian can deny that Joe Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 election. That election attracted geeks from all over the world and it has been analyzed and established beyond doubt that a Biden win is not just statistically improbable, but impossible.

Ignoring that fact is exactly what the election thieves want you to do. Turning away from their only real and powerful public challenger is exactly what they want you to do. We’re now in a bizzare horror movie where our only hope is to outsmart and deal a death blow to our captors.

If, as some here say, President Trump is a loss and liability to We the People, why don’t our captors leave him alone and let him self destruct?  Because he won’t. His blunt and consistent message has been against them and for us. And they know we know that.

In another bizarre uncovering of mittens and his devotion to the unitary and his own interest, mittens spoke out supporting government censorship of social media.

That fucking twat deserves lizzy cheney treatment by the people of Utah.

Because it’s not a real job. Those of us who work like to retire in our 60s because work is not the most fun thing, otherwise they wouldn’t have to pay us to do it.  What these people are doing is hanging out in DC schmoozing, going to parties, socializing and getting narcissistic supply, and not only being paid for it but grifting and skimming all kinds of extra money and favors.  Why should they ever quit?

Sorry if I confused you.

No, I don't think we will run out of petroleum.  I just don't like petroleum and I don't understand people that seem to love it and resist all attempts to develop better, cleaner more efficient energy sources.  But YES, I  do agree with those that don't like to be forced into something new and unproven "just because".

I have lived near refineries in Pennsylvania. They stunk and polluted the air and water.
I have lived near coal mines in West Virginia and would not go back.  And "Clean Coal" is laughable.  That is like saying clean dirt.  Mining is a dirty nasty business which is one of my complaints about electric cars and their batteries.

And I don't want to replace plastic with something else because I think we will run out of petroleum.  I want to develop a plastic replacement because I don't liek plastic.  I wouldn't call it "fake plastic" because plastic itself  is fake.  It is a manufactured product that (almost) NEVER degrades.  Almost all the plastic we have ever made or will make will be with us always  Get a blood test.  You probably have plastic in your blood stream. Perhaps we will make a new kind of degradable plastic out of petroleum.  But I don't like things, like my MIL, that never go away (except money and health).

I don't know anyone that is resisting new, cleaner forms of energy but the conversion needs to be MARKET DRIVEN not government mandates and COST needs to be the same or cheaper adjusted for inflation of course.   ::)

Well, start a thread. And put your two statements above on it, followed by “Prove me wrong.” Or right. Whatever.

If you don’t think we here are legitimate and rational, then why are you here?
I started a thread like that a long time ago.  There was no discussion.  Just insults and accusations and the usual denials.
But I'll think about starting another one when I feel up to it.

I'm here because I learn a lot.  And because I can say FUCK and PUSSY and tell people what I really think about them.
