Six-Month Federal Budget Deficit: $1.1 Trillion
Not only that but "The six-month interest payments of $440 billion exceeded the $412 billion in outlays for defense."

What did he say that isn’t factually correct?  Not counting speculation about what is going to happen in the future which nobody knows.  And are you seriously comparing his analysis to that of Barbara Streisand?
He was factually incorrect in claiming Russia would accept a peace agreement with the current Ukraine government. Russia has demanded a "neutral" government in Ukraine, which is a demand to replace the existing government with one which they must approve. Also known as a demand for surrender. (Plus a demand to demilitarize - and something about denazification, whatever that means.)

Nor I did not hear him explain why Ukraine winning was delusional. As best I can tell, the closest he came to supporting that statement was noting that several third-world authoritarian countries were supplying Russia with munitions. Presumably those extra munitions outproduce the entire Western alliance?

I don't know what analysis, if any, Barbara Streisand has articulated (likely none.) But even if one adopts "appeal to authority" as heuristically valid I have no idea what experience Warwick has that makes him knowledgable about international politics or military matters that Streisand doesn't have. As best I can tell he, like most bloviators, can articulate his positions better than the average person.

I made the mistake of viewing that video by Tarl Warwick (aka Styxhexenhammer666). He is utterly clueless on this subject because he disregards or doesn't know that Putin will not settle for anything less than total control of Ukraine - by direct control or by a proxy government. He disses celebrities for their positions because they have no expertise that he is aware of, but he is himself known only for being a political/religious bloviating self-created celebrity. Pot, meet kettle.

The following claims could have come from past alter egos of Styx in the previous wars that Russia and the Soviet Union lost to smaller countries:

1994: "It's delusional to think Chechnya can win." (First Chechan War, 1994-1996)
1979: "It's delusional to think Afghanistan can win." (1979 - 1989)
1919: "It's delusional to think Poland can win." (Polish-Soviet war of 1919-1920j
1918: "It's delusional to think Estonia can win." (Estonian war of independence, 1918 -1920)
1918: "It's delusional to think Latvia can win." (Latvian war of independence, 1918 -1920)

Those are just the ones in the twentieth century.

Dispersed solar generation and load leveling batteries would be great for Ukraine since Russia has been attacking the small number of large power plants that supply power to Ukraine's grid.

And Russia could use a dispersed raw energy source since Ukraine has started targeting their large oil refineries.

A .gov website.   Brought to you by a government with an agenda.

Yea, I'm going to trust their data.  ::)
A deep conspiracy in the counting of garages? Hoo boy....

Also,  most people can't charge at home. Apartment dwellers, row home and people with on street parking (city dwellers), etc.
"Sixty-three percent of all Housing Units have a Garage or Carport"
"Note: A housing unit is a house, apartment, group of rooms, or single room occupied or intended for occupancy as separate living quarters."
Source: https://www.energy.gov/eere/vehicles/fact-958-january-2-2017-sixty-three-percent-all-housing-units-have-garage-or-carport
So technically "most" (i.e. >50%) housing units likely have power outlets available to charge an EV at the owner's home parking spot.

The issue is that the fertilized egg is now a full set of human DNA and in order to produce one live baby, you have to sacrifice a few more of the zygotes.  The right, being pro-life, considers this equal to abortion.

My objection to that characterization is that rather than subtracting a human life as the net result, which regular abortion does, you are actually adding a human life to the world by using this process, that otherwise would not exist.  Yes, you must create and then sacrifice one or more other zygotes to get one to survive, but in this case they are actually literally a “clump of cells”.  Unlike what they become just a few short weeks after implantation into a womb.  They are not differentiated cells; there is no central nervous system so no possibility of consciousness.  Yes they have a full set of human DNA but so does any one of your skin cells: that doesn’t make a discarded skin cell a “person” with a right to life.
I'm confused by where you stand due to your previous postings. You note above a requirement for a consciousness (which in turn requires a nervous system) in order for a cluster of cells to be considered a person, and point out that doesn't happen till after implantation. But conception occurs before implantation and yet in the past you've stated "...you’re a human from conception and exactly what abortion is actually doing to the new little life,"[1] and "Personally, I believe life begins at conception and abortion at any age is murder."[2]
Have you modified your position or am I missing some nuance or made a mistake in understanding that makes all of your above quoted statements non-contradictory?

Spin Zone / Authoritarianism not needed: proof from game theory
« on: April 08, 2024, 08:31:25 PM »
I'd read about game theory yielding the results presented in this video, but it presents a good summary of explaining why cooperation is in one's rational self-interest in the real world. It shows there is no need for an elite engaging in authoritarian dictate, on pain of incarceration or death, to insure everyone "cooperate" for some elite's goal. One only needs to make a good case for the goal and rely on the target audience's self-interest to accomplish that goal. No threats needed.

Is he wrong?

https://twitter.com/Red_Pill_US/status/1772034344368112025

For you non Twitter users, basically he’s saying all the money we are giving to Ukraine is ending up with BlackRock, and furthermore, BlackRock owned companies are buying up all Ukraine’s farmland as part of the “loan” condition because this money is technically a loan although we all know it will never be repaid.
First sentence in that post:
"U.S. could have avoided the conflict by keeping NATO out of Ukraine...."

In 2014 Russia violated a 1994 security assurance that included the US as one of Ukraine's guarantors. Details here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukraine_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction
Ukraine did request membership in NATO in 2008. It was rejected. However, NATO claims to have an "open door" policy and a right to self-determination of nations, so left open the possibility of membership at some much later date. Putin found that unacceptable. He sure as hell didn't offer any generous deal with Ukraine as JFK jr claims.

Pretty much everyone expected Ukraine to fold when Putin ordered the invasion of 2022. Western arms makers and Blackrock are unlikely to be pulling Putin's strings or have evil henchmen in the Kremlin (if anyone wants to claim they do, well, think upon the implications.) They had nothing to do with the start of the war or expect profits from a short-lived invasion.

In any case, none of the current profiteering (assuming his claims are accurate) was the result of previous evil machinations by western firms. The US and the West were pretty slow to feed munitions of any value to Ukraine anyway.

Spin Zone / Re: Years Late - CDC Releases Covid Vaccine Injury Reports

No excuse for government interference in healthcare. But the truth is the rate of serious adverse events from these shots is well known from multiple randomized controlled trials. It is about 1 per 100,000.

I don’t know any serious non government employee who ever claimed it was 100% effective. The early shots were perhaps 90-95% effective, in the sense of reducing your likelihood of being infected, and this decreased over time.
Then there is the placebo effect:
https://www.bidmc.org/about-bidmc/news/2022/01/placebo-effect-contributes-to-covid-19-vaccine-adverse-events

"Haas and colleagues analyzed data from 12 clinical trials of COVID-19 vaccines. The 12 trials included adverse effects reports from 22,578 placebo recipients and 22,802 vaccine recipients. After the first injection, more than 35 percent of placebo recipients experienced systemic adverse events – symptoms affecting the entire body, such as fever – with headache and fatigue most common at 19.6 percent and 16.7 percent, respectively. Sixteen percent of placebo recipients reported at least one local event, such as pain at site of injection, redness or swelling."

Suppressed to protect criminal Pharma and corrupt Biden regime officials, the cdc has released reports of over 780,000 injuries attributable to the scam vaccines.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/cdc-releases-hidden-covid-19-vaccine-injury-reports-5617872
Interesting! Thanks for that. 8% suffering negative side effects should have clearly shown up in the phase 3 trials which had 43k subjects just for the Pfizer vaccine. Did a quick search and this is what Pfizer reported:

"Data demonstrate vaccine was well tolerated across all populations with over 43,000 participants enrolled; no serious safety concerns observed; the only Grade 3 adverse event greater than 2% in frequency was fatigue at 3.8% and headache at 2.0%"

https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizer-and-biontech-conclude-phase-3-study-covid-19-vaccinem

Hmmm ... "adverse event greater than 2%". Not going to spend time digging through their original results but if they had just 3 other adverse event categories each affecting 1% of subjects then 8% is easily attained and still honestly report only two adverse event types occurring over 2%.

Oh so it’s fake news?
If Zelensky was as self-serving as often claimed he would have bugged out a long time ago. Why would he make such a high profile purchase that anyone with an IQ above room temperature would know was horrible PR? All IMHO.

Earliest mention of alleged sale I could find was this youtube video:

Zelensky also allegedly bought a house in Florida according to a claim that recirculates on a regular basis that is also regularly debunked. Of course no chance that the Kremlin is behind these claims. Believe first, verify maybe never.

Also, why post on X a video of a story instead of a link to the story itself? What's up with that?
