So they closed everything they thought would bring together groups of people for our own good.

Then they declare "no fee day" in the national forest and parks.

Saturday the public launch ramps and beaches filled to capacity (Saguaro and Canyon Lakes AZ) with people almost elbow to elbow on the beaches. Large groups of boats rafted together partying it up.

I can only imagine the crowds at the Grand Canyon and Lake Havasu (Google spring break at Lake Havasu videos).

If we are going to die without social distancing we're all doomed, doomed I tell you.

I learned a lot about the power of a crowd while being pushed around the floor area.

You can't get insurance coverage (other than temp policies) for a child in AZ unless it is part of a family plan. Fortunately the policy on my 13yr old is "grandfathered in" meaning they know they can jam me on the price because I have no options. The plan we have is 3x as expensive as it was not that many years ago.

Wow, that was quick.

DA Rollins has essentially said that she will not prosecute misdemeanors, theft less than $700 or other "low level"  "non-violent" crimes because too many " poor people and black and brown people" are being locked up.   This policy should take about 2 or 3 years to bear the fruit it has sown.

Before you know it they will be bragging about their low crime (prosecution) rate in the city and telling us how "right" they were to do this. On top of that they will explain how racist cities that do not do this are.

Do people remember the movie "Minority Report"?

As much as we'd like to prevent crime, until someone actually commits a crime that person is still innocent, is still not a criminal.

Maybe I'm missing something, isn't the above mentioned someone still considered innocent until they have been thru due process?
