Honestly, I was going to post a whole big long rant that would go down the page with all kinds of foul words. I went away and came back and I'm better now.

It's not about black and white. The sooner we get past that garbage the better. It's all about culture. It has been for ages now.

Anybody ever notice how when a person with dark brown skin, dark brown eyes and curly dark black hair comes from a place like Kenya, or England, or Australia and doesn't look like they just got out of prison and speaks proper english, even if broken and with a thick accent, they are immediately accepted.

Anybody ever notice how when a person with dark brown skin, dark brown eyes and curly dark black hair goes to university, gets a degree and takes on a profession that they are immediately accepted.

Anybody ever notice how when a person with dark brown skin, dark brown eyes and curly dark black hair takes the office of City Council, mayor, assembly person, representative, senator, attorney general, district attorney, police chief, sheriff, CEO, engineer, doctor, scientist, astronomer, astronaut, fighter pilot, US military General, or President of the fucking US of A that they are immediately accepted?

This is what we have a problem with -



Trash culture that breeds more and more misery, ignorance, death and incarceration. Stupid makes more stupid over and over again.

Now, obviously we don't need to see folks wearing a suit all the time, what everybody wants that loves America, other than just their sorry selves is- assimilation. Do as the dominant culture does. Educate your kids. Inspire them to do better than you do. Want them to learn and not just shut their mouth when they ask questions. Engage with your children and their future. Have them be just like the smart kids in school no matter what they color are.

Millions of people with dark brown skin, dark brown eyes and curly dark black hair, have done exactly this and it has turned out incredibly well for them!!! Learn from them instead of choosing to reject them and cling to an identity that is broken and a proven failure. Don't give in to the "poor us, we have been wronged, now you owe us" culture. Step above that shit.

"Black lives matters" is a crappy joke. All lives matter. It's backward trash culture that doesn't matter and it needs to fade away. Anybody with dark brown skin, dark brown eyes and curly dark black hair needs to work towards this end rather than defend this failed culture. At this point, it makes no matter how we got here, it just matters how we move ahead.

Skin color doesn't matter. Character does. The people and "victims" that the OP posted about, were of poor character and clung to the old culture. They ultimately fell victim to it. Crooked, murderous white cops is part of that culture. Those cops need to be punished if they are truly guilty, but the defenders of the victims have to ask themselves, how did these people get there and what could they have done to never encounter that misery?

Having said this, there obviously are hold outs to the old fucked up white culture white people have had in the past. There are those that want to cling to ideas of "racial supremacy". It will take time to completely cleanse society of this rubbish and we are working on it. It's pretty obvious is if you really look around and not just at the sensational headlines that this is so.

Hi Kristin.  I doubt we will see civil wars in indoctrinated Europe.  We won't bail them out this time either.  This is for whatever reason a welcome invasion by their government/political class.  Their people are used to oppression, and being serfs, they have no 2A, and the independence has been bred out of them over the centuries.  We are the last hope and the last resistance to the new Dark Ages.   

That is politically incorrect enough that I could have written it.     I do think that there is more than a grain of truth and hits on one of the major differences between the U.S. and Europe.  I tend to look at it slightly differently, though it may be a distinction without a difference.  For two to three hundred years, most all the ornery malcontents of Europe, those yearning to be free, came to the U.S.  That seeded this continent with the ornery and left Europe a bit bereft in that department. 

I would argue, however, that another major difference is our Constitution.  It is a paean of orneriness as it enshrines individual liberties.  No other country has that.  Witness the UK Parliament debating excluding Trump from entering their country because they don't like free speech if it might offend somebody.

That being said, if they have leader, then will fight.  They are good at that, once there is someone to follow.

I didn't come here to bitch. I came here to see what it was about. For a group of people that decry censorship, I love how quick the people around here shout down people who are just trying to point out a difficult truth.

I plan to stick around to see how things progress since I always enjoyed lurking in the SZ. I just hope that ya'll can make a place for yourself over here instead of making it only about how POA wronged you.

We might tell people what we think of them in no flattering terms, but you and anyone can say anything you like here.  Even if you are in the minority.  As a matter of  fact, we love to have dissenters here so we can really tell them what we think.

So I invite you to stick around and defend your position, to the best of your ability.  It won't hurt any of us.

But they are the threads that are at the top of the most active subforum. So they're the threads that are getting the most recent comments. I clicked through all of the top threads before drawing my conclusion. You may not like what I have to say, but that doesn't make it inaccurate.

Other than having fun at your expense and pointing out the rank hypocrisy I don't care what you have to say.

Looking at the top 30 recent posts, the only entry regarding POA other than this one you started, ranks #28 - the facts don't really support your belief - but then again, facts are apparently not a strong suit for some.  Also, the earliest posts were focused on reacting to the loss of the SZ, so those posts are the oldest and will naturally have more views and even more comments, at least for a while - makes sense.

Besides, this place was formed as a reaction to the jack-booted poorly thought out and less well executed Orwellian closure of the most dynamic portion of POA, it makes sense that this group would want to evaluate what happened and learn from it - since we are clearly the smartest and most awesomest open-minded members and former-members of POA.

The dregs remain to talk about the members of members, or so I hear - not that there's anything wrong with that. 

Now that it's getting boring over there and the reality is setting in that the loss of dynamic content and contributors has left that site diminished, it is only natural that people would seek out that which they pretended to dislike, but secretly lust for like the heroine in a dime-store romance novel.

Defying the rules, she broke her phone out in class.  It happens.  My kids have been caught doing that and suffered the consequences.  But this girl didn't put it away, and when the teacher told her to leave she said no.  The teacher summoned a member of administration who asked her to leave - she refused.  The SRO was called and he asked her to leave - she refused.

I think the officer was rough in his handling of her, but I do not see where he did anything to warrant being fired.  You simply can not have kids doing anything they want in school and defying authority.
