They won't force it as long as they get stimulus checks and more unemployment.

We are starting to see a little pushback on the unemployment checks from a few states.  We need a lot more.  I’ve been traveling a lot for work, and I see help wanted signs everywhere!

This crap has got to end…

As I sit wearing a damn mask at an airport waiting to get on a commercial flight…..

When will people start to push back on this?  If I didn’t have to fly for my job I’d refuse to wear a mask at all.  As it is I haven’t worn one in a store in about a month.  No one has said a word to me.  It’s time to end this BS

No one earns Teacher of the Year who sets out to get it. It comes from real passion and real hard work and a real relationship with students.

Teacher of the year is a popularity contest, just like every other peer voted “award”.  I had a department head that was so proud that our department almost always got the teacher of the year.  Of course we were told who to vote for each year and she made sure the entire department voted as a block.

Because vaccinated people can still be infected and pass on the virus. It's already happened.

I take it you didn't read the article?

Why the hell are we still telling vaccinated people to wear a mask?

94% reduction in asymptomatic transfer after vaccination.

That should be it.  No more masks once you have been vaccinated!

We hated our heat pump when we lived in Illinois.  It always failed to deliver when too hot or too cold.  When it was hot outside it couldn't move heat from inside to out.  When it was cold outside it couldn't move heat from outside to in.  Efficient, but not effective.

We finally put in geothermal.  What a difference!  A constant, unlimited source of 50 degrees.  Three loops straight down.  Silent and never failed.  Power consumption dropped to about half of the heat pump.  Totally bummed that we can't do that here.  Nothing but hard rock that's WAY expensive to drill through to put in the loops.  Too many trees for solar, wind is too noisy.  Guess we'll just have to keep with the cheap propane and cheap electricity.  And a whole house generator for the inevitable ice storms.

Tell me about your Geothermal setup please.  We are about to build our new airpark house here in Tennessee and I really like the idea, but don't know a ton about it.

I need new pillows, what's the web site?

Mypillow.com.

Really like the ones we have.  He always has discount coupons for 1/2 off.  Also got a couple sets of sheets a while ago.  They seem pretty nice as well.

Another one.

Amazing, something positive about progress.  I'm sure it is all because of Xiden's new policies of course...

Interesting article about continued immunity after having Covid.

Looks like there is no reason to wear a mask after you have covid (and recover) or after you get vaccinated, and well probably know reason even before that as well.

Should have about 150 hours for the year.  RV-12, RV-9A, J3, and 1 hour in a Citation V (right seat).

It looks like the Senate will be 51 or 52 Republican.  The Georgia special election will go to a runoff, but there were more votes for Republicans than Democrats.  Regardless, even if the runoff is a loss, that leaves it 51-49.

The difference in Michigan is 9000 right now.

The House is screwed up still.

This is huge.  Even if they somehow steal the White House, with a 6-3 SCOTUS advantage and keeping the Senate we might be able to make it until the mid-terms without them passing anything too radical.
