Final Countdown. I just watched it a month or so ago. It was on Prime or one of the streaming services.

Splash the Zeros.

I can stop the carbs and still have trouble losing it but it’s probably because I also need to cut back on the protein and fat a little, total calories matters.  I tend not to pay attention to calories, just carbs.

Pretty much the only carbs I get now is beer and the occasional snack when I go off the reservation.  No bread, pasta, etc.  Haven't had a sandwich in over 2 1/2 years.  I struggle to get enough protein, so I eat a lot of egg whites and drink a protein supplement. It helps living alone as I don't keep anything "bad" in the house.  My ex-wife used to demand we keep certain things here.  Fuck that.

Actually, I am very comfortable at my current height/weight of 6', 150 lbs., and my doctor thinks it's ok also.

I also note that while they may have the legal power to do this in their state, it may not work politically -

All told, I don’t think this will hurt Trump much and think the states having this power is perhaps a good thing, versus a gigantic Federal government controlled by the two branches of the uniparty.

Attorneys have no special powers  nor superior intellectual to read words. Why do you put so much faith in them? Judges and Attorneys are biased by their political leanings also.

Kind of funny how after her Governorship she got on the board of Boeing and was able to but a nice little house.  A bit beholden to the MIC for my liking.

There has always been corruption. Now it is more widespread, blatant and out in the open because there is no accountability, nor consequences.  We're no longer the USA.

Where do these stats come from if they're "undocumented"? Seriously.

^^^^^I'm not going to quote all that.  We already live in a Totalitarian Police State when it comes to treatment of legal CITIZENS, especially those that disagree with the Democrat Fascists and this invalid "Administration".  Yet we allow ILLEGAL ALIENS in, many that harm us or have the potential to do great harm to us. Harsh measures are required to stop this. Measures that act as a deterrent. Letting them in and living illegally past their visa dates or just staying here without a visa isn't working.  No other country does that.  Why should we be different?  Life jail sentences for the Cartel members and terrorists would be a start.  Hard time too, not fattening them up and nice quarters like Gitmo.

I'm well aware of Japan's monoculture. The US is more multicultural and has benefitted from that variety, IMHO. Whatever Japan does to maintain its monoculture would be inappropriate here so I don't see any lessons that can be taken from it.

The lesson is screening people that could harm you and not let every poor person in looking for a handout to siphon from the productive CITIZEN in America.  Our immigration policy is a very dangerous and economically draining OPEN DOOR. You cannot be that dense.   ::)

Yep, all the big institutions. Our only hope are the small outcasts like alternative media, Twitter now that Musk owns it, homeschooling or certain private schools, businesses that reject being beholden to ESG/DEI, women like Becky and me who don’t fall for the communist cult, black man and women (especially men) who are waking up and rejecting the Democrat Party but trending to MAGA, not GOP, and curiously, the very youngest voters, where there is a trend to push back against the establishment which right now is Biden and the Democrats.

I edited my post, because you reminded me not all women buy into the Fasco-Communist narrative and agenda.  The push back doesn't get much traction because there is no widespread reporting of it and voting no longer matters in many cases.

What is it about sandwiches? They’re so satisfying. During our paleo years I craved them. When you’re all the time eating just meat and vegetables from a plate, you begin to drool over the prospect of yummy things in a sandwich.

Don’t talk to me about bland, floppy “bread” substitutes made from starches or cauliflower, or “wraps” of lettuce or weird plastic-like substances. No. It has to be whole wheat or sourdough. You pick it up, and bite in, and, like that first sip of morning coffee, you instantly feel happier. When you’ve polished off your sandwich, you can go do the rest of your day’s work, in a good mood.

Sandwiches are the best. My favorite turkey sandwich also has avocado, bacon, cabbage, pepper Jack cheese, and chipotle mayo.

Haven't had a sandwich in 2 1/2 years.  Really don't miss them.  No bread, nor pasta for that long either.  I just don't eat that way anymore.

No. Though I understand how it could be taken that way. I meant it literally. I have no issues with Number7's character - straight and trustworthy. Issues we can, ahem, differ on. He has his way of debating and I have mine. So why not wish him a happy thanksgiving since he wished an unqualified one for everyone else.

Classiest post of the year.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  Today is my wife’s birthday, Thursday is Thanksgiving, and on Friday I’m heading out on a long weekend to celebrate our 40th anniversary. I don’t think I’ll be loitering here too much over the next few days, so cheers!

Congratulations! Have fun! Happy Thanksgiving to all.

J6 is nothing more than the smoke screen to cover up a stolen election.

Yep, I’m a election denier.    Show me the evidence otherwise.

I agree. Insurrection my ass. Nobody was armed except the police.

Blame the policy of the non-producers and women to be allowed to vote.  If it can only save one child (person), it's worth it mentality has destroyed fiscal responsibility.  Add the Man-Made Climate Change LIE, the War on Drugs, Open Borders, the MIC, etc.  Graft and corruption is on a level never seen before and out in the open.

They're all responsible, Congress, the Presidents, Lobbyists, and US.

Yes, I see the irony that a woman started this thread.  Women here are an exception, not the rule.
