I've learned, since Inauguration Day, that when 45 opens his mouth (or Twitter account), to start looking into news that isn't on the front page. Everything else is smoke and mirrors meant to distract.

Apparently, it works. Such is the reality-TV society we live in.

The Identity Politics Obama, Holder, Lynch, Hillary used, and are using is the main distraction.  Kaepernick, and the other players started politicizing the NFL, with IDENTITY POLITICS, a sport people use to relax, be entertained, and escape politics.  Now you blame Trump for commenting on the disrespect of the flag and Anthem he now has been elected to represent?  Wow.  I guess the Koolaid is strong in your area. 

I am so fucking sick of getting lied to by politicians. There is literally no reason to delay his promises, unless he never meant them to begin with. Of all his promises, the only thing we got was a conservative Supreme Court justice.

Yes, Congress bears a lot of blame.  However I thought the Art of the Deal guy was going to be a lot better at negotiations than what I've seen. He can't even influence recalcitrant Republicans. You do that by either giving them something they want, or threaten their destruction as a politician. He doesn't seem to have tried either. Twitter doesn't count.

I am trying to think what leverage the guy has over fellow Republicans in Congress.  He can't control if they get voted in, nor out of office, nor offer them leadership positions.  If his own party is against him, what can he do?  Bully pulpit?  I think he's tried that.  Maybe during the mid terms.  We are f*cked!

Schumer is presumably referring to himself and Pelosi, and Trump's apparent affection for them — or one of them, anyway. He continues telling his unseen colleague that the statement he and Pelosi put out about Trump's DACA promise was "exactly accurate." "Here's what I told him," Schumer continues. "I said: 'Mr. President, you're much better off if you can sometimes step right and sometimes step left. If you have to step just in one direction, you're boxed.' He gets that."

It looks like they are buying it. 

All part of people wanting to rewrite history. When you look at all the events that led up to the civil war (the actual events) then you look at the actions Lincoln and the north took (again the actual events) the story is quite different than what's been accepted.

I remember learning in high school, and then college that the Civil War was about several issues, many economic.  However, today they teach it was ALL ABOUT SLAVERY brainwashing our kids with LIES.  This has been going on for decades.

Antifa, and BLM don't know what they are.  They are anarchists, and COMMUNISTS.  They are just hate America groups funded by the likes of George Soros, and his ilk.  Their purpose is to de-stabilize the Trump Admin, and the U.S. 

Keep in mind that the Progressives are a very minor group.  The only reason they appear to have any traction is the MSM is in bed with them.

When push comes to shove this will become evident.  The progressives have severely under estimated the people in the fly over country, ya know, the delorables that cling to their bibles and guns.  BHO had the progressives convinced they were no longer a factor.    Wrong.

I used to think we needed to pull politicians out of their offices, physically, and tar, and feather them, throw them in a cattle car, and run them out of town.  Now I think we need to do that to the people in the media.  The media is THE ENEMY.  They hate America, and all it has stood for.  They are WAY too powerful. 

McConnell, (Mr. Turtle) needs to GO.

I'm pretty sure even discussing Loretta Lynch breaking the law is racist.

Or Eric Holder, and if you discuss Lynch you are racist, and sexist. 

Not saying this about anyone here, but I do think that many liberal/progressives are of a mindset of do as I say, not as I do.  Also, they are quick to commit other people's money for their pet, feel good causes, especially when they don't have any skin in the game.  So, I think invflatspin's sentence is valid.
