No. It has to be painful and it has to be public, so as to dissuade others from taking a similar course. Treason is a betrayal of not only your country, but of your countrymen. It is worse than murder. At the time the Declaration of Independence was adopted, the penalty for high treason was:

Then cut down and revived.
Then disemboweled and beheaded.
Then cut into quarters.
Each quarter was to be boiled in oil.
The remnants were scattered abroad so that the last resting place of the offender would remain forever unnamed, unhonored, and unknown.

The whole reason to dump the gold standard and go to a fiat currency was so the government could just print as much money as it wanted.
This has NEVER succeeded in history, and has always led to a meltdown and eventual insolvency.
But what about the elites? Keep an eye out as they will be dumping the dollar and buying currencies in the BRIC countries. You and I will be left holding the bag.
Better start buying gold folks. But look for the government to start restricting that as well.

Remember "defund the police"? The genesis of that movement was to defund "local and state" police, then fedgov would swoop in with a "federal" police force controlled by the Executive in DC.

They worked hand in hand with the democrats to perpetuate the nonsense. They REFUSED to back their president during the two impeachment fiascos. And they REFUSED to acknowledge or fight against a blatantly stolen election of 2020 and 2022.
And now these sorry bastards are trying to convince everyone what we need is an ESTABLISHMENT backed candidate.

Like “FIX ELECTION INTEGRITY, YOU SHAMELESS GRIFTERS,” and the like. It’s worth the stamp, I think.I did an experiment once. For some state or local race, I donated a small token and spelled my first name “StAn”.
Well, the flow of epistles and surveys finally seemed to end, and I thought I finally was done with them, but yesterday I got a survey! It listed about 25 possible GOP candidates for President and asked which one I preferred!!!!! And of course they wanted money.
Hahahahaha!!! They don’t get it. I’ll say it again, the GOP is DEAD and needs to be replaced. They are destroying the United States. How out of touch can you be to act breathlessly like the 25-candidate thing has any meaning whatsoever? I suspect people are NOT sending them money, which means they’re funded by the opposition. Because they’re sure acting like opposition.
It was cathartic but totally unproductive, I’m sure, to scrawl on that survey with the Marks-a-Lot and put it in the mail. Traitors and assholes are they.
StAn started appearing in national mailings, emails, and texts so fast it moved faster than a case of herpes at a Grateful Dead concert.
They are all snakes.
