That's terrible.  I always hate to speculate, but that what discussion boards are for, right?  I rarely filled all the seats in the Tiger or flew at gross weight, maybe because I had it at high altitude in Colorado for several years.  I hate to hear accidents like these.  Ship the luggage UPS, and leave a margin for W&B.  I'm, not saying this guy was over gross, but high, hot, and heavy was never a place I wanted to be.

To be fair, the various stock markets increased under Obama.  Furthermore, I do not trust them as an economic barometer, but I understand they are future looking indices.  If the markets continue to show gains as interest rates rise, that will be a true indicator.  And interest rates will rise, as the economy improves which it will especially if tax policy is revised.

The Trumps had their wealth, power and influence well before they got into politics.  However, I wouldn't put it past anyone with those types of personalities to want more power, and influence.  I do think Trump wants America to succeed, and be prosperous.  Whether it is solely for his ego, or altruism remains to be seen.  That being said, I will support the policies he is trying to implement because I think they are good for the country as a whole.  A rising tide raises all boats.  Isn't that what JFK said.  :)

^^^^^^This is why the liberal/progressives want law abiding citizens to be disarmed.  They view the Constitution as an obstacle because they don't agree with it.  Well too bad.  It has worked for over two hundred years.  Just because it is inconvenient to your SOCIAL ENGINEERING doesn't mean I have to bow to your will.  The more you try to make me capitulate, and try to normalize all the wrongs in society, the more I will resist.

Obama was a very charismatic person to some.  However the fact that not one Republican voted for Obamacare tells me he really wasn't that good of a salesman.  He just had enough of a Dem majority to ram it through.  G*d know what he had on Justice Roberts for that man to turn traitor, and rule the way he did.  Yes, Obama did lie about Obamacare, and keeping your doctor, and health plan.  He blatantly lied, and that is all I need to know about him.  Yes, politicians lie, but typically not like that.
