Hillary won the popular vote because of small metro parts of New York, and California.  When those small areas in two states are allowed to dictate to the entire country, it will be time for another revolution.

I know that Bob, but the President, as part of his agenda can influence Congress.  Trump has a Republican majority in both houses.  Let's see if he can use it to his advantage.  Will the establishment Repubs fight him?  YES.

At least the new attitude coming from our President elect is ECONOMIC GROWTH AND JOB RETENTION/CREATION.  It is pervasive, and will lead to a positive, growing economy.  Now, let's see if he can CUT SPENDING, also.

Expected response from China.  Nothing out of the ordinary, except the media will use anything to discredit Trump.  For me if China, Russia, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, etc don't like it then it was the RIGHT THING TO DO.

I agree with most of the other conservative/libertarians.  Personal stuff?  LGBT, drugs, abortion, etc should all be up to the individual.  Government should NOT BE INVOLVED IN ANY of these issues.  The war on drugs has cost TRILLIONS, and just succeeded in creating huge law enforcement, government bureaucracies.

I have stopped watching the "news", and even opinion shows.  It is the same stuff, over and over again, even if I agree with it.  I am going to a streaming based provider shortly for my video/tv needs.

Under Obama, we have had very anemic GDP growth.  Often, it has been flat.  When the economy does not grow, people do not get jobs, nor make money.  If our tax rates are cut across the board, and regulation rolled back to reasonable levels, we will see economic growth.  As JFK said, "a rising tide raises all boats".  More economic growth means MORE TAX REVENUE even if tax RATES are cut.

When the states signed off on the Constitution to become part of the Union, then they ratified the 2A.  When they did this they gave up state's rights for those issues covered in the Bill of Rights.  This is not a state's rights issue, but a Constitutionally acknowledged NATURAL RIGHT.  The states that restrict carry of firearms by those that are not prohibited are doing so ILLEGALLY.

Why didn't Obama rectify the situation in Afghanistan, and Iraq over the past eight years?

For the record, the Democrats voted to invade Iraq also, based on Allied intel.  Hillary, Kerry, Schummer, Pelosi, Reid, etc.

Philly has that now, and the state has also upped the tax on Cigarettes.  I am not a smoker, but a friend is, and he is now paying over $8/pack for cigs.  The Mayor of Philly, Jim Kenney is as hard a leftist as De Blasio, and many others.  He lives in La La land.  These guys are quickly becoming DINOSAURS.  The Mummer's Parade, (a weird Philly tradition) has always based its humor on NOT being politically correct.  This year, the Mayor is forcing them to go to sensitivity training, and banning certain non PC themes.
