Spin Zone / Re: Trey Gowdy For President

Do I?? I was just stating a fact. You might not like that fact Mr. Pennsylvania, but most Americans, for whatever reason, don't care about Benghazi. They just don't. Sorry.

I have no reason to be ashamed. I didn't vote for Obama, or either of the senators from California. I did vote for my US representative, Jerry McNerny because the Republican they put up to oppose him was a joke and a shill for the big agribusinesses in the valley. McNerny opposed Governor Brown's idiot "water fix" plan send more delta water to So Cal at the expense of those that actually live here. That's all I needed to vote for him. I'm certain McNerney had nothing to do with Benghazi, or any of your other list of things I'm to be ashamed of.

OK, thanks for clarifying that.  While I am from PA, I've lived several years in Colorado, a year in in San Fran, several in KY, FL, and CT.  Now, back in PA.  I know from living in CA it is easy to get indoctrinated, and sometimes you sound like you are drinking the cool aid.

The media is the reason the people don't care about Benghazi.  I sure do.

Spin Zone / Re: Is the 14th Amendment a threat to the Bill of Rights?
« on: April 29, 2016, 08:30:05 AM »
Agree on the first part, we balance our rights against the rights of others.  However, I disagree completely on limiting rights for "the common good".  The "common good" is collectivist bullshit that is used to seize the rights of individuals for the good of the state, and as such is an anathema to the rights of individuals.

Spot in Jeff.  It is the government, and political class's way of taking away our rights, and our property.  Liberal/Progressives are too uniformed to see that.

None of whom would be disenfranchised by having to use the bathroom that corresponds to their plumbing.

This is a Media/Democrat generated NON ISSUE.  It is a another fabricated problem to further divide us.  It is calculated, and cunning.  It parallels the divisiveness promoted using race, gender, sexual orientation, political beliefs, religion, etc.  All constructed to keep us infighting, and at each other's throats as a purposeful distraction so we don't focus on the real problems, and unite against Government, media, and education.

My impression is that the anti-gun morons will latch onto any position to try to get rid of guns.

I don't really believe that the anti-gun morons care about the rights of criminals, it's all about getting rid of guns.

It is about getting rid of legally owned guns owned by law abiding citizens.  They are fine with the gang bangers, and drug dealers have illegally owned guns, as they are victims of society.  We are just white privileged, undeserving bigots

I knew I was forgetting one. We also have a T-37 Tweet on the field!

Stan, that is some collection!

There are many on the left that side with the attacker, and portray criminals as victims when there are sometimes no alternatives to stop the threat from them with deadly force.  Liberal/Progressives truly have a mental disorder.

Spin Zone / Re: Are you shopping at Target?
« on: April 27, 2016, 12:50:06 PM »
That's a bit aggressive in terms of impact.

If Target loses, say $1b in revenue, that doesn't translate to $1b in the bottom line.  They will have a corresponding drop in the Cost-of-Goods-Sold line.  I've not looked at their financials in any detail, but the critical factor would be what their gross margin is, and in retail, that tends to be quite thin.

Exactly.  However, the board/stockholders don't look kindly at even a small reduction in GM.

Stan, this is a goal of mine as well, along with getting my glider add on.  Good luck!

Can we use a ouiji board?

No because you could unwarily open up some portal to Hell, and allow demons to enter your home.  Be careful with that sh*t.  :)

Or maybe the sheep are beginning to become fed up. If so, then people and municipalities, school districts, counties and states will start to ignore orders from DC and when the federal branch becomes insane with anger and jealousy things might start to turn back towards what is right.
I'm counting on a lot of folks finding their testicles in time to stop the complete annihilation of freedom.

I hope you are right.  I hope there are enough of us who are fed up, and won't take it anymore.  County, and state bureaucrats just want to keep their cushy jobs, and pensions.  The politicians just want to stay in office.  They won't risk that by putting up a fight with the Feds.  They don't even know what freedom, and liberty is anymore.

I've never been a Target shopper.  I go to Walmart for consumables, and stuff we use everyday.  They are losing customers over this though, and if it affects their bottom line, then heads will roll.

I know they won't because they want a contested convention, but Kasich, and Cruz should bow out.

A 68 year old severely flawed and possibly criminally indicted, power hungry political animal and a 74 year old avowed Socialist, both of whom are the epitome of career politicians, have the extremely good chance of beating a 69 year old multi billionaire liberal who acts like a juvenile, for POTUS.

I think I'm done.

It is very depressing isn't it?  I have been politically active in Republican politics on and off since the early 80's also.  I worked for two Governors for a while.  I have never seen anything like this before.  I have thought this way since Obama got elected in 2008.  Now, after 7 1/2 years of absolute nonsense we are looking at four more years with Hillary.  I don't see Trump beating her.  The sheep are brainwashed, and weak.

Cruz has a "big announcement" today at 4pm.  It's suspected he's gonna name Fiorina as his VP choice.  If so, the desperation is skyrocketing.

Or he will drop out.  He's toast from a voter perspective.

I truly believe the the current government and federal courts desperately want to force an uprising for the purpose of enacting draconian marshal law, and giving themselves a free shot at confiscation of everything from firearms to gold and silver. The rate that the courts are destroying liberty has increased to the point that the USA will soon remind many people of the old USSR, where your not even your thoughts are your own property.
The progressive agenda is everything the old Communist Party stood for as it exploded its own power for the purpose of 'owning' everything to insure the survival of the state at eh expense of the people.
The republican agenda is so watered down it's hard to tell what they stand for anymore.
I do agree with the presumption of the author that it has come time to refuse to obey flagrantly unconstitutional judicial orders. Once more people refuse to bow to the will of the state, the power of the state will decrease dramatically, even if the process is painful for a time.

A few years ago, I would have thought this was tin foil hat stuff, but now I think it is reality.  If Hillary wins we will see a Supreme Court packed with far left, radical, anti (legal) gun judges.  Our 2A rights will be neutered as well as other natural human rights.  Then people will have to make some hard decisions.  I think most will just cave in to the new USSR.  The Feds could make legal gun owners criminals with the stroke of a pen.  Hillary has already said she wants Australian style MANDATORY gun confiscation.  What more do we need to hear?
