I never really thought much about Henning, other than his crazy rants on energy.  However, the only feedback I remember of him was from some people I know that had dinner with him once.  I was invited, and declined.  The only thing they said about him was that his language was very, very profane.

What's your opinion of the "Patriot" Act?

I don't like it.  I saw it as a way for Big Government to take advantage of a crisis and reduce our freedoms, and liberties.  In addition it created DHS/TSA, and grew government vastly.  Another huge bureaucracy to pay for, and be controlled by.  I blame both the Republicans, and Democrats.

Here is my take.  Hillary is positioning herself to bow out of the race "for medical reasons" if she continues to tank. She simply cannot take another "shellacking" such as the one she suffered in 2008.

I don't know if her ego will allow her.  She is obsessed with power, and becoming President even if it means doing Soros's, Saudi, China's, etc bidding.

... but then race hustlers, and malcontent failures would have to look harder for someone to blame for their lack of achievement.

In addition there is an entire industry devoted to keeping the races contentious.  It profits politicians, community organizers, various corporations, diversity trainers, THE MEDIA, EDUCATION, etc.

Yes.  The bank promises their safe deposit holders privacy in what they put in there.  By opening Bob's box, other box holders will see that their secrets could be revealed.

People have known that could happen for decades.  There are more secure places to put stuff.  This is a 4th Amendment issue

Let's extend that analogy outside the digital world.

Bob the Bombmaker is arrested after blowing up Giant Steps Nursery School.  In the course of the investigation, the feds learn that Bob's employer, Acme Blasting, has rented him a safe deposit box at a local bank.  The feds go to the local district court and obtain a search warrant for the box, and also the consent of Acme Blasting.  Bob, however, is unwilling to give up his key, which he has of course hidden in such a way as it is not retrievable.

Are you saying the feds can't demand that the bank permit them to break into the box without a key or hire a locksmith, because they would have to expend resources (compensated by the feds) to get into that box?

I think that as soon as you move this to a non-digital world, the silliness of Apple's position becomes apparent.

Not a good analogy.  Will breaking opening the safety deposit box negatively affect the bank's business model, and erode earning per share due to compromised practices?

This morning on Fox they had CJ, the German Shorthaired Pointer that won the Westminster dog show last night.  Well CJ was tired from the long night and was laying down.  They planed Hillary's dog barks, and CJ immediately got up, became attentive, and started to look around for a bitch.  He found one.   ;D

As a former German Shorthair owner, I applaud CJ!!!

Bold added.
Good point.  As one who drives through west Texas it becomes very obvious, very quickly, that if one has an emergency said person best be well equipped to handle it alone.  There are literally 100's of contiguous miles of nothing but barren land and livestock.

You don't think a person as important as a Supreme Court Justice warrants a helo and a team of experts?

I am not opposed to some form of amnesty, nor a long path to citizenship - people are an asset, not a liability.

How do you know that?  Most countries screen on skills they need to improve their work force, and also screen for criminal, and terrorist backgrounds.  We don't screen as we are allowing un-vetted illegals in, and actually delivering un-vetted Syrians to states around the U.S.

I find it amazing that stupid is so attractive to democrats these days.

Maybe the barking dog will be a better president, so destroy everybody else and make the run safe for cankles, and the world is saved.

Our parents were so much smarter, more practical, and had real common sense.  They did not live beyond their means, and also wanted what was the best for our country, and did not demonize us as a colonial power like their kids have.  The 60's Vietnam, anti establishment, protest generation created an anti American MONSTER.  Instead of respecting what we've created, they blame America first, yet the rest of the world's masses want to come here by any means possible.  Why?

I am not saying that Scalia was murdered by the Obama Admin.  I am not even saying that Scalia was murdered by rogue leftists who want to destroy the 2A.  What I AM SAYING is that someone as important, high profile, and pivotal as Scalia should have had an autopsy, and investigation into their death.  That is all.  They should have ruled out foul play once, and for all to curtail any doubt.  Now what we have is more divisiveness which is destroying our society.

Maybe the family was "convinced" not to pursue an autopsy?  Who knows?  But, now he is embalmed, so we will never know, and he was embalmed very QUICKLY.

I want a Justice that respects the Constitution, and doesn't try to interpret based on his or her "feelings".

Is that anything like Climate Change? 8) ;D

You know I was thinking the other day that Man Made Climate Change has NOT been part of the discussion in either the Democrat, nor Republican debates.  Nobody is talking about it anymore except Obama and the EPA.  Stick a fork in MMGW!
