It's a LIFESTYLE change, not "dieting". I purposely changed my daily routine about four years ago. I stopped eating bread, pasta, rice, potatoes and other carbs. I exist mainly on vegetables, lean proteins, including egg substitutes (basically colored egg whites), chicken breast, some fish and lean ground turkey. I get carbs from fruits and occasionally sweet potatoes.
I do drink a lo cal protein supplement if I feel it's necessary. At the same time I started a daily 21/2 - 3 hour intense workout including cardio and weights. The gym is only closed Christmas day and I was not happy. I just felt out of sorts.
Do the above and you will have trouble keeping weight ON like I do. If I'm not careful, I will start losing a few pounds a week.
