I’m guessing the SJWs in the front office haven’t spoken to the sales people who are selling ads to advertisers.

There will be an accounting as to what this costs them. Internally of course.

I think ALL the advertisers which for PGA are investment firms, luxury cars, watches, banks, etc are totally on board with this BLM, PC, Woke, SJW crap.  I believe Corporate America thinks that their prime demographics are now MOSTLY indoctrinated, Leftist stooges.

Oh, I forgot to mention.  Remember, Washington High School in San Francisco that removed the mural of George Washington that had been there for almost 100 years because the administration and teachers said the students felt threatened and assaulted by the images of the Indians (native Americans) and slaves?  So, 100 years of students viewing that mural and now all of a sudden they feel threatened by it???

Sports and Corporations obviously think so.  They are falling all over themselves to jump on the honor George Floyd and support Black Lives Matter bandwagon.  Even the PGA now.  I guess they believe the indoctrination of our younger people has taken hold and that is the future for SALES and SUCCESS.  Is this the new world in which we live?  I feel like a dinosaur.

(Reuters) – The PGA Tour said on Tuesday it will observe a moment of silence during each round of this week’s tournament in Fort Worth, Texas to honour George Floyd, a black American man who died after a white police officer knelt on his neck.

According to the PGA Tour, the moment of silence in its first tournament back since the COVID-19 shutdown will be observed during the 8:46 a.m. CT (1345 GMT) tee times throughout the July 11-14 Charles Schwab Challenge.

Eight minutes and 46 seconds is the length of time that Floyd was filmed pinned under the officer’s knee.

The PGA Tour said in a statement the moment of silence, prayer and reflection is part of its commitment to “amplifying the voices and efforts underway to end systemic issues of racial and social injustices impacting our country.

Many of us knew this was next on the Marxist agenda.

Quote
CNN's Angela Rye called for statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson to come down Thursday on the network.

"American history is not all glorious... George Washington was a slave owner. We need to call slave owners out for what they are. Whether we think they were protecting American freedom or not, he wasn't protecting my freedoms," the network contributor said.

"To me, I don't care if it's a George Washington statue or Thomas Jefferson, they all need to come down," Rye concluded.

So the Colonial, Betsy Ross flag has already deemed to be RACIST, now the current American flag will be next.  Tear it all down, and rebuild in the vein of the former Soviet Union.

People like this guy and Candice give me hope......as long as people listen.

It depends what day it is, but I am losing hope the more I see what is happening, because a lot of people believe this Marxist bullsh*t now.  It is unreal how they are advocating this violence and destruction because of "Racism"  Truly surreal.

We are undergoing a MARXIST PURGE and the excuse is "Racism".

Perhaps the most significant takeaway so far is that more freedom, not more government, is the answer… Freedom is a better friend of true science than government-centered and government-controlled science. Freedom, not government, is the best friend of innovation. Freedom focuses our politics on persuasion and the intellectual strength of our positions, not on control, coercion or the heavy hand of government. And if someone is interested in the common good in all its iterations and complexities, freedom is the one and only choice.

My approach to this virus was to provide South Dakotans with all the information I could and then trust them to exercise their freedom to make the best decision for themselves and their families. We took a unique path – we haven’t locked people up, forced businesses or churches to close, or ordered a statewide shelter in place.

The mainstream media attack those who push for freedom and for people to be able to make the best decisions for their families.  But politicians who take away people’s freedoms and enforce lockdowns are praised – and shielded from real scrutiny
.

This Governor has to be the best in the USA.  Thank you Governor Noem!

Anyone remember the riots after the people that almost killed Denny basically got off with a slap on the wrist?

Yep.  But look what happened after Rodney King.  This stuff goes back decades, but it is now at epidemic levels.

He said his mind immediately flashed back to the 1992 Los Angeles riots and trucker Reginald Denny getting beaten to within an inch of his life by rioters while news cameras rolled.

That was a huge travesty and I bet truck drivers started carrying serious weapons after that, varying State laws be damned.  As Oddball said in "Kelly's Heroes", "A Sherman can give you a nice edge".

It's been a LONG time since I shot an AR variant... last time was an M16 back in the 70s.  The thing that turned me off from them was the plastic feel and the crazy recoil spring bouncing around in the stock at each shot.  I hope that they've improved since then... how is the M4 in terms of fit and finish and overall sturdiness?

I loved the style of the M1 Carbine but didn't like the non-standard ammo and I was never very accurate with it.  I went with a mini-14 as my carbine-sized rifle.

It (the AR platform) is really a totally different rifle now.  They are excellent in just about every way, and I am VERY particular about my firearms, and how they function.  I reload for the .30 Carbine, so the ammo doesn't bother me.  The AR platform and the 5.56mm cartridge are superior though.

you mean standard capacity magazines.

Yes.  I apologize for using the Communist vernacular.

I will now go load 2,000 cartridges (not bullets), clean four firearms, and have an extended range session as penance.  I grew up Catholic, its hard to break.
