Spin Zone / Re: School District Wants to Stop "Jesus Lunches"
« on: April 14, 2016, 09:09:02 AM »
A Middleton, WI (adjacent to the People's Republic of Madison) school district is trying to halt a gathering of parents and students during the lunch hour from meeting in a public park adjacent to the school to discuss their faith.

They have absolutely no control over what kids do off campus and off the clock. Period.

He's speaking for his handlers. GOP establishment is bought and paid for.

Both sides bought and paid for, strings being pulled by those above. We have the illusion of choice, but do we really have choice? With the same people pulling both sets of strings?

I would vote for anyone over Hillary.

A vote for Hillary is a vote for flushing what's left of the old USA down the toilet.

Laura Ingraham has correctly identified where the problem lies with the RNC.  I don't see her column as pro Trump but instead a critical review of the Republicans and why they are now in the mess they are in.

And she is dead on with her assessment of Rubio.

Correct on all counts, and why Trump is popular. We all know 16 years of the Bush/Obama presidency has gotten us nowhere, and both sides continue to foist the same shit sandwich upon the populace.

I'm damned near ready to vote for Trump, as I feel we need to blow the place up, burn it down, and start over. Trump can certainly do no worse than the past 16 years of asshatery.

Not just Trump, but the large support base behind Bernie shows that many Americans are fed up with status quo politicians and will get behind some fairly radical ideas to get the point across. Bernie/Trump? Just depends if they're dissatisfied D's or R's.

There was a time when I knew the lyrics to just about every Doors song. Same for the Beetles.

like when you are a creditor of Trump and he choses to declare bankruptcy and stick it to his suppliers who gave him goods and services and never got paid, or uses the full force of government to take someone's home so he can use it as a limo parking lot.  I sense the Trump sycophants don't see the dark side of this "successful" business man.

Yeah, buy you have to give the guy props for playing the existing rules and laws to his best advantage, and he's even admitted as much when asked about his bankruptcies.

When the wife complained that I was missing Mass way too much and it wasn't a good example for the kids, I took them all up to around 4000 feet on a sparking CAVU Sunday morning, and said "This is my Church."

"I'd rather be flying and thinking about God than sitting in church and thinking of flying" so the saying goes. For me, the jury is out. The engineer/scientist in me says yeah, hard to prove, but I also see a lot of very smart successful people who believe, and I see our church involved in a lot of good mission work. People helping people ain't a bad thing.

I won't watch that crap that artificially promotes any of the Progressive agenda, meaning I don't watch very much.

Funny, but I've become my Dad. I watch sports and news and not much else, because most other stuff is crap.

Spin Zone / Re: What Will the Downfall of the US Look Like?
« on: December 02, 2015, 06:48:11 AM »
2016 is the tipping point.  Actually, the tipping point may be well past.  I don't think Bernie has a shot unless Hillary implodes, however if Hillary wins, she has telegrahed that she will out Bernie, Bernie which means give out more "free" (taxpayer funded) stuff to buy votes.  Then she will appoint three far left, radicals to the Supreme Court, which will uphold all her craziness.  Good bye USA.

Yeah, that.  :(

And the GOP is a hot mess right now, no clear leaders, and now Trump making an ass of himself mocking a disabled man. The GOP has NO credible contender and Hillary will win by a landslide.  >:(  Combine all those already on the government teat with those that will be once immigration reform is passed, and I don't think the GOP will remain a relevant party. Just not enough voters to ever win again. Game over.

Yeah, maybe a little doom and gloom, but probably not far from what will happen.

I'm tired of everything Bruce Jenner. He's such a media whore that the only way to keep his name relevant and in the news was to become a zie.

It's a play for dollar$, nothing more. Freak.
