Spin Zone / October 7th
« Last post by Lucifer on Today at 03:51:37 PM »

The terrorist are promising more Oct 7th style attacks.  We are watching organized protest on college campuses around the country.

This summer the protest will escalate.  Then by October, we'll be ripe for an attack on US soil, which, BTW, would be a prelude to a national emergency.  Right before November.

  See what's going on?

As a lifelong hay fever sufferer, it would drive me insane.

Me too. I also have a violent allergy to most jewelry, because they alloy it with nickel. A nose ring would give me a horrible itchy oozing rash. Gross!!

What’s with those nose rings?  Why would anyone want the feeling of snot hanging out your nostrils all the time?

As a lifelong hay fever sufferer, it would drive me insane.

I think we are seeing some of this here:https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2024/05/01/how-climate-policies-are-giving-boost-far-right/

Rich liberals are going to vote for lefties.  But poor liberals that are suffering the results of those policies that hurt the poor are often switching to the right.

Hopefully it makes up for all the new support for the Democrats due to the Republicans hard line on abortion.

And then some I hope.

I interrupt this thread for some meaningless wokeness.  We went to my grandson's soccer game last night, state playoffs quarter final, and noticed a banner at the entrance to the school that appeared to announce the school play. My wife could make out the first two words but not th third word.  She told me it said 12 Angry "something".  Well, of course it seems Men would ne appropriate as we are, likely, all familiar with that tile. My youngest son, father of this grandson actually had the lead in that play at a local theater group.  Too many letter though. when the light turned and we drove past, it became clear to me that last word was "Jurists", 12 Angry Jurists, brought to you by 21st century wokism.

That kind of thing sends me into a rage.

8) ;D

He’s also only 5’8” and we haven’t had a president that short since Ulysses S. Grant.  Which doesn’t mean he can’t serve as VP but if you want a strong candidate for the term after Trump 2.0 it needs to be someone electable. It’s actually true that the taller candidate usually wins at least according to one scientific study I found.

But his politics?  I love him, he’d be my second choice to Donald Trump.

On the other hand all women are too short. That was probably the main reason Hillary lost.

I think we are seeing some of this here:

How climate policies can drive voters to the far right
Studies show that as energy prices rise, so do right-wing movements against green policies
