What was this guy thinking? Night, MVFR/IMC, hot weather, full load, mountains, fog, not inst rated, low time. Maybe we should toss in some acro to make it juuuuuuuust a bit more interesting.
It doesn't bother me when they kill themselves, but taking the family along with them is - shameful.

Wow, that is really sad. I was based in Colorado with my Tiger, and learned a healthy respect for mountain flying. I kept to good weather, light winds, daylight, and well under gross. It's been HOT is CO the past few weeks also. Unseasonably hot. Thoughts, and prayers for the family.
