Spin Zone / Re: How about some yoga- LoL

Depends on the instructor. And no boob remarks, you louts!! :D
My wife and I take a "gentle yoga" class at the gym.  I think it really does help flexibility.  Little things like crawling under my desk to trace computer wires are no longer as daunting as a task as they were.  I'm 64 yrs old.

But some of the moves the instructor makes just seems impossible to follow.  But that gorgeous young tight body of hers seems a lot more willing to go into some of those positions than my worn out body is capable of.   See, no boobs mentioned. (oops).  But hers, though small, are awesome in that yoga outfit.  And I gotta say, it does make the class more interesting.

I'm liking the Ohio dude. I won't butcher the spelling of his name.
I was thinking the same thing.
They all said things that I liked, but Kasich is the only one that didn't keep saying things I didn't like.
But I could easily support any of them over Hillary or Sanders.

I go to the fox news web site and it asks for my internet provide.  But when I select it, or even any other, I get
"File not found".

Is anyone able to stream the debate live?

Now, granted, I don't know what it feels like to be male.  But do you like women, in public, that you don't know personally,  staring at your crotch, butt, thighs, anywhere but your eyes?  While you are speaking?

If you do, you will probably believe that women like men to stare at their chests instead of look in their eyes.  But you would be wrong.  Most humans don't like being reduced to a body only, and in the case of women, it can be very, very unpleasant and even threatening.
Aside from the spandex bicycle crowd, do you know any men that wear clothes in public that are designed to show as much skin as possible, especially around their sexual parts?

Now, answer the same question as regards to women.  And yeah, I know;  "society forces them to dress that way".

Boobism goes back way further than racism, is more culturally accepted, and the media actually promulgates it!

Boobism:  The Next Big Thing.
But unlike racism, "boobism" is craved and sought out by the so-called victims.
On second thought, maybe boobism does have something in common with racism.

So, what ... big boobs, you listen to what she says, or big boobs, you don't listen to what she says?  Small boobs, you listen, or you don't?
Big boobs and I get too distracted to listen.
Little boobs and I might listen, if she doesn't sound like a bimbo, in which case, I get distracted.

Please cite, specifically, how in 2016, we are denying the past and the impact on the present. Be specific.
I settle for a generalized description of how we are denying the past.

The best I can come up with is that some people think we are denying the impact that the past has on the present, but I even have a problem with that.  Sometimes you just have to let things go and get on with life.

Slavery was ghastly.  It destroyed lives and families for generations.  And the bigotry and discrimination that followed was almost as bad.  But even that has diminished to the point that it can no longer be used as an excuse for every failure.  There are just too many successes (eg: Jaybird) to allow the past to continue to drag us down.

Yep. History has shown throughout the ages, that when things get tough, people turn to and desire a strong caesar, king, dictator, or chairman to save the day. Many times this desire ends in ruin for the people and country. Americans are no better and no worse than all of the peoples throughout the ages.
We are the most multicultural melting pot the world has ever known. Are you saying that hasn't helped?

As he mentioned in the debate, he's been audited many times.

Yeah, I guess I posted a little too soon.  I suppose that this audit is probably routine for his income group. (I wonder how many that includes).

I just thought it was a little strange, yet not unexpected that an anti-establishment politician would get audited during a campaign.  On the other hand, Hillary is being investigated during a campaign.

I'd be satisfied if they were both indicted and convicted.

What a coincidence. A random aid while running for the GOP nomination.

In order to change that, the fairy tales surrounding history must be exposed and done away with.
Do you mean the fairy tale that says that living on government assistance is easier or preferable to going out into the real world and earning a living?  I know that after a while people get discouraged and just give up, or that some people just don't believe they have the ability to earn more by working than government assistant pays.

I also think that when people become dependent on government assistance, the idea of losing it is frightening especially after they have already lost confidence in themselves.  And that is what liberalism does; it replaces peoples perception of self reliance with the security of government reliance.
