Where did I say someone here is supporting the protesters? Some should read before they type.
I don't think the problem is just that people don't read, it is just that everyone is looking at each situation through blinders that only let them see what they want to see.
I don't think it is unreasonable for people (or politicians for that matter) to change their minds. I was always a little embarrassed about that sound bite about Kerry (he was for it before he was against it), even though I disagreed with him both times.
And again I will say, I totally lose respect for people that say "in other words" then proceed to say something completely different, or take something out of context or make an invalid comparison or refuse to acknowledge differences in degree.
btw, I voted for Trump today. Not because I am angry, but because I can't stand Cruz. He looks and acts like a weasel. And because I don't feel Rubio or Kasich have a chance. But I'd like to see either or both of them drop out to save their dignity and run again at the next opportunity (4 or 8 years, depending on what happens in November).
