Tulsi would not be my first choice. DeSantis or Vivek would work for me.
Either one would be a good pick, but we have DeSantis right now (until 2026) and you can't have him till we are done with him.

She sounds like she might be able to fit in here.  I'd love to see her as Trump's VP.

The following is excerpted from Tulsi Gabbard’s book "For Love of Country: Leave the Democratic Party Behind" (Regnery Publishing), which is being released Tuesday, April 30.

We have no time to waste. We live in troubled times. Our nation is bitterly divided. Our future as a republic, as a union, appears bleak. The news – the noise, the insanity, the darkness – is something many of us want to shut out. There are times when all I want to do is grab my surfboard and paddle out into the ocean, or go for a hike in the mountains, and appreciate the peace and majesty of Mother Nature.

But there is too much at stake, in this moment, to put our heads in the sand and go about our lives with blinders on hoping the insanity will fade away. The insanity and threats to our constitutional democracy will not fade away and will only increase unless we stand up and remind those trying to destroy this country that ours is a government of, by, and for the people.

Big nothing burger. If the dog did bite someone and someone made a police report, that dog would have been put down anyways. Some people forget that dogs are still animals, and some are just going to be too aggressive to be around people.
The issues HOW they are put down.

For some reason, people are less squeamish about spending a day taking a dog to a veterinary clinic and having them put an IV Catheter in and injecting pink juice than they are about even thinking of putting a bullet in a dog's head.  The bullet is probably much more humane as it is quicker than a trip to the vet, which most dogs hate.

Not to my surprise, The Patriot Front uses the slogan "Reclaim America".

Is there any wonder why they are shown as they are in the linked twitter post?

My wife is mostly tolerant of tattoos and piercings and blue hair.  But she draws a line at nose rings.  If we are in a restaurant and the server has a nose ring she will (make me) ask for a different server or a different table.  She feels like Rush said; it makes her think of snot coming out of the servers nose and she envisions it dropping on her food. (yecch).

These college student brats weren’t even born when 9/11 happened.  They have no fucking clue what they’re doing.

Is that thing on her face to make it easier for someone to lead her around by the nose.
Just seeing that makes me want to give it a good yank.

I don’t know but it brings up a question that bugs me a little. What if something happens to one of us and there is no way to know?  Suppose I drop dead tomorrow. Unless my husband makes an account so he can tell y’all, you’d never know. Or one of you would have to remember my real name and google obits.
I have given my wife info for 3 sites to login  and announce her freedom if something happens to me.
This isn't one of them.

Although "hush money" is all over the media, it's really just a non disclosure agreement.  But that doesn't make headlines.  And there's nothing illegal about it.

I'm so pissed off about all this.
Looks like non-disclosure agreements are going to be banned too.

This actually looks more like extortion, or maybe blackmail to me.  But the extortionist is the plaintiff and the defendant is the extorted.

There you go.  The next step is in June when he will install the titanium screw.  Then it heals some more and he will cap it in the fall. The whole process will take a year.
But  you should still floss before brushing.

My dentist has forbidden me to use mouthwash.  I’m in the middle of getting an implant and something about the gum healing over the bone graft which takes like 6 months and mouthwash isn’t good for it.  I’ll have to ask but I got the idea he doesn’t like it in general because of the alcohol being too much of a drying agent.
I have heard that you shouldn't use mouthwash with alcohol after dental surgery because it damages the new healing cells.

Just out of curiosity, which way do you think is the correct order of brushing and flossing?  To my surprise, my dentist and hygienist said you should actually floss before you brush.  If you brush first, you brush right over the crud.
I don’t “think” brushing first is the right way, I know it is.  It’s the way my mother did it and the way all my dentists except one have done it. (That one was wrong.)

HAH!  I was right!

2: Clean between your teeth

It might sound backward, but yes, you’re supposed to floss before you brush your teeth. As Wadia explains, a toothbrush (even when used effectively) can only reach the front and back sides of teeth. Flossing after you brush is certainly better than not flossing at all — she likens no flossing at all to only cleaning one side of a dirty dish and putting it back in the cupboard. That said, it’s best if the floss comes first “so that when you do brush your teeth, the toothpaste can have good access in between the teeth,” says Wadia.

Let's say 99% of illegals are just looking for a better life, are good people, want a job, and will end up paying taxes and eventually assimilating.

And let's say 1% are criminal psychopaths, which is the actual estimate in the general population. Assume for the sake of argument that the rate of psychopathy among illegals is no higher than that among U.S. citizens.

Almost 7.3 million illegals crossed the border just during the Biden administration, as of February, 2024.

7,300,000 x .01 = 73,000.

So we have 73,000 newly arrived criminally inclined psychopaths just in the past 3 years.

So the argument that illegals are simply looking to escape poverty and be accepted with open arms is technically correct 99% of the time, but doesn't hold water if you are trying to defend the idea that we should just let them all in. A process of vetting would weed out those with a violent criminal history, ties to terrorist organizations, or no discernible job skills meaning they'd just be a parasite.  Without control over who enters our country, we aren't a country; no point in even having borders.
I also like to point out the hypocrisy of the left when it comes to illegal aliens vs gun control.

They say that illegals are "mostly peaceful" and looking for work to improve their lives.  Only a few of them are criminals.  You shouldn't punish the majority because of a small minority.

But when it comes to gun control, even though most gun owners are law abiding and peaceful, the left wants to take guns away from everyone because a few are criminally inclined or mentally ill.

The only difference is that gun ownership is  constitutionally protected and legal but illegally entering the country is not.

And no intelligent adult would ever think you were either conservative or republican.
You might be right,
But what do you think? ;)
