I'm finding this fire very troubling. I've heard some things saying that this building had lots of code violations.

Is this not one of the things that we count on Government to police?  From the articles this has been a problem since 2014 at least.  Seems like the owner is going to hang for this, but what about the government for allowing this to exist?  Should they not hang also?

A business refuses to bake a cake for a gay couple's wedding and they are eviscerated in the media and end up out of business yet a designer can openly refuse to be involved with clothing the incoming first lady and is celebrated as a hero.  I must be missing something.  ???

There seems to be a lot of talk about California seceding.  Let's say they are truly serious, what things are part of that action that they are not thinking about?


1.  Once they secede, if a "D" is elected they can't just say we're coming back.


2. Those citizens of California that stay as part of the secession would no longer be U.S. citizens and thus not qualify for SS when they retire.


3. No welfare or EBT from the feds.


I know there are down sides also for the U.S. such as no longer having their revenue or contributions to FICA.  I wonder how that all averages out?


Thoughts and other things I'm missing, of which I'm sure there are many.

Had a thought.  Let's say xxxx voters go and early vote and two weeks later a memo turns up where one or the other of the candidates for POTUS ordered someone killed.  Do those votes get to vote again or are they stuck?
