Spin Zone / Re: If the GOP denies Trump the nomination . . .
« on: June 20, 2016, 08:24:06 PM »
I am late to the thread and didn't read all the responses, but yes, I would vote for damn near anybody they propped up, even the "good ol' boys". Trump is an abomination. He probably has wrecked the GOP and I can live with that, but now I am sure he will wreck the country and that's a whole other matter.

It would likely save a lot of down-ballot races.

So instead of Hillary having a Democrat Congress to deal with that will rubber-stamp all her stuff, she'd have at least some speed bumps.

GOP basically wrote off the White House the moment they had Donnie win the primaries, the question now is, will they do what is needed to save Congress or not?

There are a ton of sheeple who will vote for Hillary whether she debates or not, whether she wins or loses any debates, whether she is indicted, or pardoned.  They don't care about all these witch hunts by the vast right-wing conspiracy.

And there just as many sheeple that are going to vote for Trump because he has an R next to his name and well... because Hillary!!

We have tons of Somalis in my town.  The ATMS offer English, Spanish, and Somali.  We love them.  We really do.  They're here seeking a better life and they're willing to work hard to get it.

So if they are assimilating nicely, why do the ATMs need modifications?  For that matter, why do they need Spanish?

Spin Zone / Re: Trump Shatters Republican Primary Vote Total

The Spin Zone never moves on.

I have no problem with Trump supporters standing on principle.  In fact, I compared that favorably with Democrats that have no principles.  I have a problem with conservatives that don't admit that by not voting for Trump, they are making it easier for Hillary to win.  And I will repeat; if conservatives truly see Trump as bad for America as Hillary would be, then I understand them not voting for him.  It is the people that know that Hillary would be worse, but won't vote for Trump "on principle" thus enabling Hillary to win that I don't understand.

There are trade-offs with everything.  Sometimes you have to make a choice.  Sometimes that choice is harder than others, like when two good friends of mine were running for Mayor of our City.  In the same election, two people I knew personally, and despised, were running for city council.  I made a decision in both races, but they were both difficult.
I understand and agree with most of that.

I would like to see people hold Trump accountable for his actions and statements though. Instead he's given a free pass for some unknown reason.

The fossil fuel industry is already overly regulated, and yes they are enforced by an out of control EPA.  If there were any environmental problems, the vast liberal/progressive media would be all over it.
Unless, of course, the EPA is responsible for the spill

It doesn't piss me off, it's just how the system works. Trump won because he ran a better campaign, good for him. Now it's up to him to convince me I should vote for him.

And that's what is truly sad. The "better campaign" amounted to loud mouth bar room bullshit and media whoring. No substance, no promises, no plans, little truth, just blah, blah, blah proposals and a lifetime of material for Comedy Central.

We're doomed.

It seems like the partisan prosecutor has some questions to answer as far as her behavior, also.
The entire case seemed like a charade to appease race hustlers and black lives matters idiots to me.

So the government is afraid of the militia...

I'd say the 2nd Amendment is working perfectly.

To understand that this is a political agenda playing out, and not in any way about transgender issues look at it this way.
A few weeks ago nobody on the far left could have cared less about forcing people to accept child molesters and sexual predators into public and school bathrooms and showers with young girls.
Now these same hypocrites are all about screaming and whining about anyone that dares apply common sense to the question.
Where were these faux sensitive people before it was the new make believe rage?
Nowhere to be found until progressives could use it to further divide and gather attention to their pathetic existences.

And into the French embassy, accidentally of course, as the French pussies didn't allow our F-111s to overfly French airspace.

I'm surprised the French let That's All Brother and thousands of other aircraft overfly France on 6 June 1944.

Pussies.

Like all of the French rifles that was surplused and sold after WW2 with the notation "Never fired, dropped once......"

Well...let's recap.

He's flipped on min wage, he's now in bed with insiders like McConnell, Boehner, now Rove is in his camp.  Yep, good thing that all the Trumpkins disavowed the "establishment" that Trump help build and pay for!

I keep telling everyone that you're not understanding him.  He is a deal maker.  From his own mouth, you're not going to believe the deals he makes.  Nothing that he says can be taken at face value, it is ALL on the table for trade.  He will trade one policy off in order to get another policy implemented.

Whatever pet project of yours you think he is favor of, try again.  He is in favor of having your support so that you make an issue more valuable on the trading block and that allows him to make more deals.
