Baseball on TV is like watching paint dry.

I'll hold my nose and vote for the Hildebeast for two reasons. The first is I think she'd actually make an impressive POTUS. All these guys lie their heads off, so I'm not that worried about that. The second is if she does become POTUS its going to be so fun listening to you guys bitch about it!
I hope they do. The populace will revolt and we'll see what's next.
Be careful what you wish for.
Yep. Hillary and Obama encouraged the overthrow and murder (and sodomy with a bayonet) of Gaddafi in Libya. That worked out well - well, except for 4 dead Americans of course. But really, what difference, at this point, does it make?
I agree with what you said, but the question was specific to Grumman flying. I've heard that it can get away from you as it's not a fly by feel airplane. Or maybe I have been misinformed???
I'm tired of everything Bruce Jenner. He's such a media whore that the only way to keep his name relevant and in the news was to become a zie.
It's a play for dollar$, nothing more. Freak.
Does that apply to all those game shows as well? Probably even mores, since I imagine there are more reasons to watch Ellen deGeneres than to see her give away stuff. If nothing else, she's way better looking than Drew Carry.
A Trump/Carson ticket just might stand a chance against Clinton.
Those moderators thought they were so smart and mug, until the candidates returned fire! And those questions...fantasy football? For realz?
I've never flown a Grumman. Closest I've come is Cap'n Ron let me sit in his once.
I've heard that the retract gear on this airplane was not necessary for efficient flight just a training aid for pilots. The picture may bear this out. Looks like it retracts just enough for a prop strike.True - it is primarily for training value and brings only a small reduction in drag.
The prop is wood core covered in fiberglass and designed to shatter to prevent engine damage.
The Russian design is extremely clever, lots of other neat little details - for example, the landing gear overcenters are designed such that if one collapses it overloads the other two so they cannot collapse.
Also, the outboard aileron hinge bracket is mounted just low enough to keep wing structure from touching the ground if either main gear collapse.
The Yak is an amazing machine, love flying it.

The whole situation at POA/SV for some reason reminded me of this and made me chuckle:

I don't know about now, but when I was in England back in the seventies you could not say anything bad about the Queen in public or the bobbies might rap you on the head and cart you away.
So we don't have it all that bad.
Yet.
