I’m coloring in adult coloring books these days. No not that kind of “adult”. Just really finely detailed pictures. I use colored pencils. It’s relaxing.

Oh, I have the adult ones!  Much more fun!

I’m still looking for the “Pearl Jam” pencil though.

Spin Zone / Re: Will American Jews continue to vote democrat?

But the only R who will really matter in 2020 is Trump. And if someone from that wing gets the D nomination, the voting public is likely to elect him or her just to get rid of Trump. Therein lies the real danger, I think.

 Elections don't work like that.

The key to every election is message.   A candidate has to have a message that resonates with voters.  2016 was a perfect example.

Here we had the heir apparent, HRC, who was heavily favored to win.  She had the backing of democrats, progressives and the media.  She was so sure of winning she didn't bother to actively campaign.  After all, it was "in the bag".

Trump had a message, one that attracted voters.  He stayed on message to the ultimate win.   Go back through elections in the 20th and 21st century and you will see this played out time and time again.

Right now the message from the progressives are "open borders, more taxes, more social spending, free healthcare and suppression of anyone who disagrees".   No clear message, and not one that mainstream Americans want to get behind.  Their other message is "we hate Trump".   That too will get them nowhere.

Trump still has a solid base and is getting results.  This is huge to mainstream America.  The booming economy is also a big plus.   The progressives realize that one or two things must happen to defeat Trump in 2020, the first is separating him from his base and the second is a failed economy.   They have tried over and over to separate the base and it hasn't worked.  And the economy is robust.

An election where the minority of alt left radical progressives taking control and using a weak message of "hate Trump" to get a democrat elected won't happen, thus why we see what is going on right now.

Whomever is pulling her strings wants the U.S. economy to tank maybe to devalue the dollar for currency manipulation.  Who knows.

There are two distinct ways to defeat Trump in 2020:

1) Seperate him from his base, or

2) Have the economy go into the toilet.

We are watching both of those items in play.

Here are the reasons why Millennials don’t ride motorcycles:

Pants won’t pull up far enough for them to straddle the seat.
Can’t get their phone to their ear with a helmet on.
Can’t use 2 hands to eat while driving.
They don’t get a trophy and a recognition plaque just for buying one.
Don’t have enough muscle to hold the bike up when stopped.
Might have a bug hit them in the face and then they would need emergency care.
Motorcycles don’t have air conditioning.
They can’t afford one because they spent 12 years in college trying to get educated in gender studies.
They are allergic to fresh air.
Their pajamas get caught on the exhaust pipes.
They might get their hands dirty checking the oil.
The handle bars have buttons and levers and cannot be controlled by touch screen.
You have to shift manually and use something called a clutch.
It’s too hard to take selfies while riding.
They don’t come with training wheels like their bicycles did.
Motorcycles don’t have power steering or power brakes.
Their nose ring interferes with the face shield.
They would have to use leg muscle to back up.
When they stop, a light breeze might blow exhaust in their face.
They would need to upgrade before the in transit expired.
It could rain on them and expose them to non-soft water.

Sounds like what Steingar has been saying but with a “So what? What’s wrong with that if it gets us what we want.”

Kim has been use to getting something for nothing.  Trump walking away sends a clear message that the rules have changed.

Kim has everything to lose here. Every day NK is under sanctions it's squeezing him more and more.

He'll be back to the table.

The tearing down of statues and renaming of landmarks, buildings, etc is so reminiscent of what the communist do when they take over..     Coincidence?

The "New Green Deal" is nothing more than a distraction, and it's working remarkably well.

First off, it's a trial balloon.  Float it out there and see if anything takes off.  Use that info for 2020.

Second, it detracts from the Border Fence issue.  The progressives are losing that fight with the President and the public.

Third, the "Trump-Russia" hoax is collapsing.  All indications are the "Mueller Report" will be anti climatic and not provide the progressives with what they were after, which was to remove the President.

Pay attention to the man behind the curtain.

1797
Whether he was or wasn't, isn't it understandable that they would THINK that he was, in view of his many contradictory statements after he fired Comey?

Have you actually read about any of this?   Seriously.   Or are you just relying on MSM coverage?

Do you even realize how, and why Comey was fired?  Are you aware that Jeff Sessions wrote a letter recommending Comey's removal?  Are you also aware that Rod Rosenstein also wrote a letter recommending Comey's removal?

Comey was fired for cause, which was he was a buffoon as the FBI Director and was doing a terrible job.  It was also starting to come out that Comey, in conjunction with McCabe, was leaking classified information to the media.

The whole "Comey was fired to suppress the Mueller investigation" is just another hoax being perpetuated by the left and the MSM with no basis in reality or truth.

In particular, that "this thing between Trump and Russia is a made up story" and "now the pressure [over Russia] is off"? That they'd be in a panic that their investigation might be shut down if McCabe and others were fired too?

 Huh?  ???

I guess if you think they were all out to bring Trump down from the get-go, it all sounds like spin to prop up a hatchet job and hide abuse of investigative authority. I'm not convinced yet. We've heard only one side of that story so far; McCabe hasn't said anything about the Fusion GPS affair AFAIK. Feel free to believe conspiracy theories, I'll keep an open mind until we have all the facts.

It's painfully obvious you are only getting your info through MSM.  It's also obvious you aren't aware of what has actually been going on (not surprising, the MSM has turned a deaf ear to the facts)

Here's the story in a nutshell (based on factual events)

1) The "Trump-Russia Collusion" is nothing more than a hoax perpetrated by the Clinton Campaign to get the DoJ/FBI to investigate and possibly remove Trump from office.

2) The DoJ/FBI senior officials (Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Ohr, Baker) committed several felonies in order to "investigate" the President, including lying on FISA applications.

3) Comey was fired for cause, which President Trump has been forthcoming about.  The constitution gives the President authority to fire anyone in the executive branch, for any reason.

4) There has been zero evidence found (after two years) of any collusion (which is not even a crime), or any "obstruction of justice".

5) The Senate Investigation, led by Sen Burr has concluded "No evidence of Russian Collusion" by the President or his campaign.

6) The Congressional Committee under Devin Nunes, after two years also concluded the same.

7) All indictments of Robert Mueller show no collusion was committed.  Furthermore, of the indictments so far, none were connected to the President.

8) Gen Flynn was set up by McCabe.  The FBI agents that interviewed Flynn even stated in their documents they felt Flynn was being honest.  This was later changed in order to indict Flynn.

I could go on and on.  Again, this is all factual and is out there.  The MSM is largely ignoring it because it totally sinks the "Trump Russia" narrative which they have been hoping would drive the President from office.

Well them maybe those bandying about the word "coup" are misusing it.

The 25th amendment provides for a way to removing a sitting President.  It is written into the Constitution, therefore, as long as they follow the law, they are not doing anything illegal.

It is a difficult process and if someone initiates the effort and finds that the impediments are too tough, then nothing happens.  However, if they can navigate the law and comply with the Constitution, then HOW EXACTLY IS THAT ILLEGAL?

We have a President.  Not a King or an Emperor.

Bullshit.

The 25th Amendment is not a “way to remove a President”.  That’s the msm ignorant interpretation.

To lawfully remove a President it’s covered in the constitution by a process of impeachment.  The 25th is a way to replace a President in the event he can’t fulfill his obligation. It was never ever intended to circumvent the impeachment process.
