Spin Zone / Re: Will Britain Be the First......

Did the people who were in the Americas when the Europeans arrived themselves encounter people who proceeded them when they arrived? If it was unpopulated virgin land then it doesn't matter whence they came. Unless they displaced Lizard people or something, in which case I expect descendants of Lizard People will soon come forth and demand reparations of American Indians.

Supposedly they came over from Asia and populated unoccupied land. Just because they were the first Homo sapiens here doesn’t give their descendants any rights to take it back. Nowhere in nature does it work like that.

Natives of the American continents would likely agree.

As I pointed out, the original natives were supplanted by a tsunami of immigration from Northern Europe as well as African slaves.  But today, the descendants of those invaders, black and white, are the new natives. We were all born here, and we have just as much right to claim America as our native land in turn. We aren’t responsible for what our ancestors did and you can’t go back and change history. It’s what humans do: migrate and if necessary, defeat and take over land and resources from weaker less developed cultures. It’s brutal but it’s nature’s way. The new immigrants (Latin Americans, Muslims and more Africans) are now trying to do it in their turn, but we have no obligation to allow them and every right to defend against it.

It depends on who demands and enforces it?
If Zelensky demands more money or requires (rather than asks or pleads) for us to send troops?  That would be extortion.
But if our Congress decides to send troops instead of money (or send both), that might be stupid, but not extortion.
If Congress uses this argument to shape public opinion out of fear of US soldiers being involved, that is absolutely extortion. Public opinion drive reelection, and they all want to be re-elected. Ergo, creating fear and giving taxpayers an either / or option to support the MIC policy that they want, they are extorting the public.

Constitutionally, only Congress can declare war, so the president needs Congress’s approval for sustained military conflict.
When's the last time that happened?

We elect presidents based upon the electoral college, not on popular vote (nationwide).

This is exactly why I don't trust polls.  Trump leads by x% nationally.  So what?  That kind of statement is meaningless for the general election.  Trump leads the primaries by x% is also meaningless.  And the population sampled, the means, and a lot of other factors need to be described.  The poll has to be state-by-state to have any predictive power on the general election.  You may get a general "feeling" but this far out and with questionable polling methods it says nothing at all.  Add in the MSM spin on the poll and it says less than nothing.  Add in the retribution to anyone who says that they are voting for Trump and you get less than that.  (Refer to the fucktard prosecution getting the names of everyone who liked or retweeted a Trump tweet.)

126
What if none of it fucking matters until we actually start to see some primaries take place.   8)

Instead of telling me what I believe, why don't you tell me where you thing I am wrong.
Your post has the implicit assumption that 40% of Republicans and 100% of independents and 90% of Democrats will vote for Biden in the general election, not just the primaries. My point is that you made some inadvertent hidden assumptions about the votes that don't go to Trump.  Some unknown percentage of D, R and I voters are going to sit out the presidential election. You didn't give any estimates for those for both candidates, so your math was incomplete.

128
Jim asked a question about what you believe. That’s quite different from telling you what you believe.

You say you’re afraid President Trump will lose the general “again.” Remember that he has never lost an election. You know that 2020 was stolen.

You know we are not in normal times. You know the machinations are underway as we speak to cheat and manipulate and do whatever is needed to keep the current elites in power. You know, even, that the RNC is trying to get rid of the man 60% of Rs want. And NOT because he can’t “win,” but precisely because he CAN, if millions of eyes are on the ballot counting.

The leftists/cabal want to get rid of Trump. The RNC, DNC, leftists and cabal do NOT WANT Trump in the White House. These are the people pissing away our blood and treasure with no signs of stopping. They’re silencing people who try to stop them. Does all this not tell you that Donald J. Trump is precisely the best option we have?

129
He has huge support from his supporters.

https://www.newsnationnow.com/politics/poll-largest-percentage-americans-independents/

From the above article:
45% voters identify as R or lean R. (This includes those that identify as R PLUS the Independents that lean R)
44% identify as D or lean D.   (This includes those that identify as D PLUS the Independents that lean D)

Assume Trump gets 60% of the first group and (a generous) 10% of the second group:

 (0.6*0.45) + (0.1*0.44)
=.27+0.4
=.31 or 31% of the general electorate.

Even if he gets 90% of the first group, that is still only about 41% of the total.

I'll be happy if you can show me where I am wrong?  Do you think he will get more than 10% of the liberal vote?
(It would take 90% of Rs and about 25% of Ds).  Can he get that?

Yeah, I know; "but none of the other Rs can either.
The only wild card that I can see is if there is a legitimate 3rd party candidate.
Now do the math for Biden. This should, hopefully, expose some dubious assumptions you relied upon.

Name one that doesn't.

Name one human that doesn’t. All verbal descriptions of anything that has happened are by definition an approximation, not reality.  This is very well understood by lawyers, prosecutors, and police. This is the very reason we have the fifth amendment because any of us, relating the exact same event two different times will have some variance between them that will be called a “lie”.

Or maybe he just has a problem with politicians telling lies.

Now Rush. Do you reeeeealy think Trump didn’t intend to say he got the endorsement of BLM?  Or did he just assume every black person and every Trump supporter would be able to parse the precise words that he used and only assume it was one person’s endorsement?

Please.

I don’t know what he intended. Who cares what he says? He has always spoken in hyperbole. “Nobody’s ever seen anything like it.”  Really?  You think every time he’s said that it was actually the biggest most beautiful whatever in the whole history of mankind?

You can’t take anything he says literally. I just care about what he does, not says.

133
Won’t get publicity because the communist left own the media.

The media is drooling that the left can get complete comtrol of the narrative. Then nobody will call them out on their lies.

It sounds like it still depends on Congress. Congress has to call it?
But it was designed as an option when Congress is broken!!! And we are there!!!
