Liberalism is a curious mixture of mental illness, fantasy and truly idiotic, wishful thinking.

I can't think of another group of otherwise intelligent adults that behave with such recklessness, self hatred, and a sickening violence whenever anyone challenges their religious fervor for ignorance, hypocrisy and irresponsibility.

I think a lot of it is self righteous, virtue signaling, and wanting to "FEEL" good about yourself.  That is why they have to demonize conservatives, and libertarians.  However, some people actually think it is a altruistic, humane way to live.  These people while good hearted, just don't get the unintended consequences, and destructive nature of liberal/progressive policies.  Just look at the inner city poor since LBJ. 

My parents gave me an early lesson on socialism/communism when I was very young.  It revolved around Halloween candy.  I would bust my butt to get to every house in the surrounding neighborhoods on Halloween.  Upon arrival from a night of trick or treating (we could go late into the evening as people kept their lights on, so 10 PM was not out of the question) I would proudly show my parents my big bag of candy, which they would promptly "TAX" by taking a portion of it for themselves.  I called it stealing, but the called it a tax.  It was all in good fun though, as I didn't mind sharing, but we'd have a good laugh about it. 

We may know this is a lot of nothing (Russia, etc), but the mainstream media has successfully convince, or at least reinforced it is real to a lot of people.  Of course they are mainly Hillary supporters that are still butt hurt she lost, but still.  It is scary what people believe, and WANT to believe.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is yet another carpetbagger from NYC that infects other parts of the country with her far left, progressive fascism.  The fact that she rigged the primary election for Hillary speaks volumes. 

Our government agencies, on almost every level is pervaded by these Deep State types.  Trump needs to clean house, and remove the Obama/Dem operatives from the management/higher administrative roles in these agencies like every other President has done.

Curious, why didn't John McCain go to the VA for his healthcare?

Lawmakers of both parties love to pass laws, and implement policy in which they are not bound.  However, there is no mandate for him to use the VA, as you know as he can afford the best healthcare money can buy.  A good friend of mine, a disabled Marine, has to use the VA as that is all he can afford.  He never has a good experience.  The staff is extremely indifferent, and uncaring.  It is a very sad state of affairs. 

I look for congress to fuck that up as well.

Oh, I'm sure they will try, but you've go to think that if they don't pass something decent there will be hell to pay come election time.  Maybe.

There are many things I have noticed about Democrats in the decades I have been working, and following politics, the economy, etc. but one stands out.  I worked for State government out of grad school in economic development under a Republican Admin.  Things seemed to be managed reasonably well, and within budget.  Fiscal decision making was pretty good.  A few years later a Democrat Admin came in, and I stayed for a year before jumping to the private sector.  They spent their entire year's budget for my department in the first quarter.  That's all I needed to know as a young 20 something.
