The NATIONAL Popular Vote as an aggregate is BEYOND MEANINGLESS.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors are the real terrorists.  They've helped destroy a once beautiful city.  What has the NRA done but promote responsible, and legal gun ownership and gun safety?  They're small potatoes when it comes to lobbying groups and don't even crack the top 50 of political donors.

Trump will not sign any meaningful gun control laws.  We already have 22,000 gun laws at all levels of government.  These "mass shootings" are statistically, very small in number, and account for very few deaths.  The inner city Black on Black violence and SUICIDES account for the vast majority of murders by CRIMINALS using a gun.  Stop those.

Maybe things have changed, but people like to eat.  People vote "pocketbook" all the time.  Maybe now more are looking to government to give them that pocketbook, but even more would like a better life than welfare provides. 

The tax cuts, historically low unemployment rate, and low energy prices means most people have more disposable income, or at least able to get by better than previously.  The fact they Media doesn't talk about that doesn't mean people aren't noticing it.
