No way the senate RINO's or the democrats will support him. So any position that requires confirmation he is out (unless it's a deal with Trump)
This is one reason Thune will not recess the senate because he is so afraid Trump would remove Bondi and put someone like Paxton in.

Just guessing I would think the vote would have to happen first. Paxton is fully aware of what snakes the establishment is.

Exactly. Not uncommon at all. As part of a movement it's all about power and relevance. And then it's easy to spot the ones that want power.
Look at Ken Paxton right now. He is fighting for MAGA to win. He is ready to drop his senate run in exchange for Thune to drop the filibuster and pass the SAVE Act because he believes the SAVE Act will give us more secure elections. He's not in it for himself and the power that goes with it.
Then you have others that when they don't get their way (MTG) or think they can sway the President they grab their ball and go home.

Should be. I think Trump should issue an executive order and let his staff auto pen it then leak it out. Watch how fast congress demands an investigation.

Endorsing does work. If a popular president endorses a candidate that person usually enjoys a bump in polling and also gets them more campaign contributions. It opens a lot of doors.

The auto pen investigation has been closed by the DoJ (according to several MSM sources).
So 4 years of radicals using the auto pen to sign pardons, legislative bills and executive orders is OK (as long as it's not a republican administration)

So Thune (RINO-SD) is going to withhold the vote on the SAVE Act unless Trump endorses Cornyn (RINO-TX).
Also Thune is sending the senate on recess but he will have certain members open the senate every few days to prevent Trump from making recess appointments.
