I hope he wins again, but worry daily that he will shoot himself in the foot.  He does seem to generate huge, enthusiastic crowd while Biden can't seem to fill a room unless his backer Comcast pays people, and buses them in.

Yep. Google and all the other Tech and Social Media giants are big Global, Progressives.  Obama was their boy, and Hillary was going to finish what he started.  They view Trump as a four year speed bump.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer (not in a Trans way, lol!) as I am normally a very optimistic person, or I wouldn't get out of bed every day.  Our only hope is that the youth of America formulate a backlash where they reject things like Socialism, Glorifying LGBT as Normal or actually preferred, a "hate America" mantra, Man causes Climate Change, and being riddled with guilt for having "White Privilege". 

Right now they think all those things are cool, and trendy, and like lemmings gravitate towards that.  They are the product of in your face indoctrination and brainwashing by all the institutions in the U.S. and world for that matter.  We have to make traditional American values cool again. 

Not necessarily germane to this thread, but Leslie were in a hotel room  last night.  It was raining so we watched "Still Laugh In" on Netflix.
 
Parts of it were funny as well as nostalgic.  They had some of the old cast and did some skits that were similar to the old show.

But first I noticed that the language was peppered with "FUCK" (ing, er, ed etc).  The original show didn't need to resort to that, although that doesn't personally offend me.

But the show was filled with Trump insults.  The kicker that made me turn it off was when they presented the "Fickle Finger of Fate" award (remember that) to "That whiny little bitch, TRUMP).

Sad.  The original Laugh In, like Carson and others who would poke fun at politicians was much different.  I liked the original Laugh In as a little kid, and thought when the had people like Nixon and John Wayne on was hilarious.  Nixon saying "Sock it to me" was effing hilarious. 

It's not just the Coastal Elites, however they alone could control the politics of the country, especially if the EC is eliminated.  It is the Metro Areas in every state that has one or more large cities.  These are the base of the Dems, not the rust belt people that actually work.  The game changer has been al the suburbs going Democrat.  This is huge as these areas have grown tremendously.  They represent large swaths of population.
